Back in my younger days, when I'd ... overindulge, I'd invariably have this dream where these little bitty black creepy things crawled around just under my skin. Not enough to make it ripple, but enough so you could see them move. Never had the dream sober.
More recently, I had a dream where half a dozen (or so) Marines jumped out of a helicopter that was going down (I don't know how I knew they were Marines, they just *were*). I was on the ground when they landed, all in a nice even row. We were surrounded by people yelling & screaming at them that they should've gone down with the chopper. A bunch of people dragged them away & then (in the way of dreams), we were all in this holding room & they were all standing around in short pants & t-shirts. A bunch of guys with masks on came in & started beating them with foot-long nails.
Incidentally, for dinner that evening, I'd had a hefty shot of Children's Benedryl. >;-}
I remember I had this dream that I was...um...well...okay I was Rambo okay?!??! and I was trying to catch some bad guys that were breaking into someones house (it was actually the scene off of a movie I had seen), and I ended up getting shot in the neck. Geeze, my neck was so stiff and sore for a week!
That wasn't nearly as fun as the dream I had where I was flying, or the one I had where I was driving before I had actually learned to drive!
Here's a site I use that has a dream dictionary. I don't know if there is anything to it or not.

Since my hubby died, I always try and look for some meaning when I have dreams about him. He never talks in any of them. Of course this makes me crazy.
Sweet dreams!!!! : D

Dreams are our escape
We can dream anything we want to dream and be anyone we want to be for a while
Life is short and dream all you can be
Sometimes it is the dreams that keep us sane and happy.
I'm sure I have dreams, but can't rememeber dreaming most of the time. Usually the ones I remember are the occasional nightmares that wake me up in a cold sweat.
However, day dreaming about exotic places, tropical beaches, get me through dealing with difficult people while working. Keeps the people I'm dealing with safe and me out of jail.
i once had something. don't know whether it was a dream a nightmare or a premonition. thought i was in heaven, no, i wasn't in FAB arms. heaven forbid. anyway as i walked around getting acquainted i heard this awful roaring and bellowing off in the distance, an isolated section. i wandered over to see what was going on. there was this huge corral. climbing up on the fence i discovered it was occupird by bulls. yes BULLS. they were bellowing and pawing the ground every once in a while two or three would violently come together butting heads. then they would run around and around trying to sodomize each other. the s**t and dust was flying and the roaring was terrific. i wandered away wondering what this was doing in heaven. after getting some distance away i looked back. everything was suddenly made clear. there was a large sign proclaiming. RESERVED FOR U.S. CONGRESSMEN. written below it said "theres a place for everyone here, if you're good."
Clayberry has skilled elected leaders dedicated to improving life in the county and providing jobs and opportunities for our youth.
What a dream
AW, ace cub reporter
Andy(George),
What do you do for Clay County? Do you provide any jobs or opportunities? Or do you just tear everybody down and always dwell on the negative? For someone who cannot even manage your own finances, you should keep your mouth shut.
Well, now, that's not very nice.
Personally, I dream about being on the front page of the Communicator with the the fold bisecting my midsection.
... and ...
I dream I'm Jeannie.
Well I had a dream one time and I was saying I DO and that was a very very long time ago and I do and do and do and do and the doing never ends. Moral of this story if you ever think about saying I DO just have somebody to mash your mouth whether your dreaming or not...
Back to you, AW.
My My!! Seems we've got a couple of crab apples in the group today. Perhaps you should go back to bed and try and wake up on the right side this time.
Mean people make me have bad dreams. Mean ole' anonymous, you leave AW alone. He's only person with enough balls to tell it like it is, the good, the bad and the ugly. Not like the "everything's coming up roses," tripe we've been hearing and reading for years and knowing all along it was a crock of bull....! You must be reading what he writes or you wouldn't be in a position to yell at him for it. Let's see, what's the word I'm looking for to describe that? Someone, anyone? What's the word?
COJONES! Ok, so maybe that's not the one you're looking for, but I think it's such a nifty word.
Everybody in Clay reads that little rag. Hundreds of people who don't live in Clay read that little rag. It's full of half-truths & spin & jargon & flat out blither & selective translations & plain ol' hooey sometimes, but so is this blog - which is every bit as much a "news source" only it's FREE! - & I love it, too.
Anybody wanna hear about the possum dream??
Once I dreamed of a place called Clay
Not the Big City; a world away.
The people were lazy and ugly and hateful
No, wait!
They were nice and lovely and socially graceful.
They went out of their way to help each other
No, wait!
They sued their sons and slapped their mothers.
They lived in houses painted with sugar
No, wait!
They lived in a hole by the name of Booger.
They had plenty of water and all things grand
No, wait!
They couldn't get water so they hauled it by hand.
They had plenty of money and took care of Gramps
No, wait!
They beat up old men and took their stamps.
Hell, I can't write about this place called Clay.
Where some support most so they can stay home & play.
Where some will give you the shirt off their back,
While others will give you a resounding smack.
Some will help you, both night and day;
Some will run over you if you get in their way.
Some will feed you, clothe you and make you smile.
Others will rob you, shoot you and make you feel vile.
Some do nothing but whine and wail
While others work hard to no avail.
There is no place on earth, it seems,
Like our own little Clay, Planet of Dreams.
Hey! I love George J! & he'd love me, too, if he'd just bother to get to know me. teeheehee
The possum dream was a long time ago, in high school. I kept dreaming that this little man was coming up the porch steps to steal my mom. When I'd go outside to shoo him away, he'd turn into a possum & run up & down the banister. To this day, when I see a possum on the road, I'M GLAD! BAHAHAHAHAHAH
Ms Rose and all:: I put an article about taxes in the Free Press this week and sent to AW also. It came out on Page 12 right smack in the center of the page. Now mother goose ya want to get your feathers fluffed up just go read that directory and then you will know why some whine and squawk, yep I even have dreams about them (nitemares actually) as it truly amazes me as to what they come out with and label it TAX. I never knew just what all kinds of gimicks the government can come up with to steal your money and do it without holding a gun on you....Well actually they do cause if you want it you will pay what ever freight it takes to get it.... (95 cents on the pack) curb our appetite in a hurry I would say..Dream onnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
if the geese[smokers] are forced to quit laying their eggs[taxes] where are the parasites going to get the money they spend.? anyone know how much money is taken in off cigarettes in a years time and what it is applied to.
Good morning, all!
Ah, lonestranger the more bad habits we all maintain, the more $$ "they" have to work with. Smoke 'em if ya got 'em.
Here's my philosophy:
My tobacco taxes are *supposed* to pay for all the health problems I'm piling upon myself (in no way am I denying the risks).
My social security taxes are *supposed* to help take care of me when I retire. "They" are telling me there won't be any SS when I'm ready to collect. Why, then, should I believe there's any health care waiting on me in my Twilight Years? We're certainly not seeing it for today's seniors.
SO. I figure it's not really going to matter much. My government's gonna scr*w me (without kissing me first) no matter what I do, so I live life with a cigarette in my hand, a belly full of chocolate & dreams of pork chops & taters fried in bacon grease dancing in my mind.
Smoke 'em if ya got 'em.
The whole System is screwy. We should all just bury our cash in the backyard (bet they'd raise the tax on Mason jars real quick!). Of course, then we couldn't fly, 'cause you can't buy an airline ticket with cash.
Can u imagine digging a hole big enuff to bury a Mason jar and put ten cents in it to bury it.. Oh well if we could get everyone to remove all money from savings and checking accounts I guarantee you one thing and thats for certain.... Interest paid on money would go up to a sensible rate or something that would be at least near what you have to pay for money borrowed. They have to make a little to stay afloat but to give you tops of 3.25% on your money and then charge you 10 or 11% if you borrow thats what I would call another ripoff.
What I fail to understand is why there's not much said about the astronomical medical costs associated with alcohol and drug use compared to those caused by tobacco use. The death and destruction to the users and their families is unbelievable. Not only does our tax dollars go to support mom and dad or pay for their 28-day treatments, but also for the care of their children until they get out. Same thing goes for when one or both parents get locked up. Never in my wildest "dreams" will I understand the gnashing of teeth over tobacco use compared to alcohol and drug use. Even some people who are oh so offended by smoke will spend hours in a smoky bar drinkin' and dancin' but get near them anywhere else with a cigarette and they claim it bothers them so much.
i dream of Jeanie with the light brown hairbut to continue does the feds take a cut of the tobacco taxes? and in what proportion if so? is there a federal and then also a state fund? if so are smokers entitled to ass't from both funds. basically what this is premiums collected on tobacco products for ass't in tobacco related illness'es. sort of a supplemental medicare that most tobacco users don't know is available. so the money that is not used for its intended purpose where does it go?
LS its used for the linings of deep pockets mostly and I am doubting anyone every getting a nickels worth of help no matter what or how much state or federal collects.. As for how much the amount was to raise it to $.95 per pack and 8% on smokeless tobacco. Whats the cost of smokeless? That was the Wv. Legislatures figures and had nothing to do with federal. So as to my understanding it was to put that amount into the state PIE. Bend over Joe's a Mansion you know, Remember his uncle A.J. stole what he could raised taxes and stole that also
i too assume all excess money goes to line politicians pockets or their associates pockets. and yet accounting books are required. does it disappear because the legal system is lax in their responsibility or because the judges and law enforcement are benefiting[being paid off]. not necessarily always in cash, to see no evil in the upper echelon.
once i had this dream: my name was Joseph and Mary and i were out behind the barn. well we got kinda carried away. later while we were resting I got curious and asked Mary, honey did you ever do this before. she said no Joseph, dear, my first time. i said, Mary iv'e been downtown to the bordello many times and never once got a ride like that. Mary paused awile watching the birds and the bees. finally she said Joseph you see them honey bees over on tha clover. I said yes Mary. she said well the next time you go to town take a few of them along in a jar. and if you get hold of a deada** stick one or two of them under her a** and she will give you a ride too.
Glad to see the talk's going retarded again. Means we can get MP back in the conversation.
Here's a dream for ya. Dreamed I was fat & stupid & had a vulgar loud mouth. Went around slapping people cause they laughed at me. Then realized everybdoy laughed at me, so started spinning round & round, slapping everything in site. Tripped over my own stupid feet & slapped myself in my own stupid fat head. Got amnesia & thought I was a politician.
Everybody laughed at me more, so I started slapping more. Then I thought I was a lawyer & sued everybody. Finally, I woke up screaming.
Next time, I'll skip the cheetos & twinkies before bedtime.
This dreamy blog was just turned into a nightmare with one fell swoop. UGH.
Ya all are talking about some dreams now! I just et me a bean burrito with halapenos and extry hot sauce and drunk down a Coke follered up by somethin called moltin chocolate hot carmel fudge cake. Ill see if I can come up with some gooderns.
YIKES! LOL
Good morning, all!
Mornin' Rose and everyone. No dreams to post about or at least that I remember. Few cups of coffee might jog memory. Have great day everyone.
Once again the governor of the state of Wv and some legislators have the Cranial Dungitis Disease as they prepare a REWARD for the 18 Coal Miners Killed already this year.
Here is the solution to the mine disasters as to date;;;;;;;;;;;;;
We The State Tax Dept. need to give the Underground Coal Operators a Tax Break so they can make our underground mines a safer place to work for our coal miners. Now thats a real solution to the problem Joe. And as one "really" bright Senator stated:::Lets give them up to 50% of there Taxes FREE. NOT one thought has been given to :::::: Lets ENFORCE THE LAWS on the books ALREADY and make the COAL OPERATORS a little more RESPONSIBLE for the safety and well being of the MINERS. We do that with every industry in the state except COAL.. Timber operators are paying almost EQUAL amounts to Compensation as they do in Wages. We the STATE let COAL OPERATORS skip out on COMPENSATION DEBTS as a reward to their workers already as Compensation has tried for years to collect BILLIONS in Comp DEBTS with little or no help from other STATE AGENCYS.... I can see where this is going as Don Blankenship has warned Joe he is a one term Governor... Guess you got him in your pocket now Don.
to finish the story; one morning Joseph met Mary. being polite he inquired of her health. Mary said i don't feel so good Joseph, sick at my stomach and vomiting. after talking awhile Joseph said Mary i think you're pregnant by GOD. Mary said yes Joseph i think so too. just think "shorty" if you hadn't wasted your seed down at the bordello and been a bigger and better cowboy it might have been yours.
