Yeah they were dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin' And just when it hit me somebody turned around and shouted play that funky music white boy play that funky music right play that funky music white boy lay down that boogie and play that funky music till you die… till you die…yeah
LOL I love that song!!!! Of course when I used to sing it many many years ago there seemed to be some chronic lyricosis involved.
This might make you squirm also or Dance to the PoLLs;;;;; Once again the governor of the state of Wv and some legislators have the Cranial Dungitis Disease as they prepare a REWARD for the 18 Coal Miners Killed already this year. Here is the solution to the mine disasters as to date;;;;;;;;;;;;; We The State Tax Dept. need to give the Underground Coal Operators a Tax Break so they can make our underground mines a safer place to work for our coal miners. Now thats a real solution to the problem Joe. And as one "really" bright Senator stated:::Lets give them up to 50% of there Taxes FREE. NOT one thought has been given to :::::: Lets ENFORCE THE LAWS on the books ALREADY and make the COAL OPERATORS a little more RESPONSIBLE for the safety and well being of the MINERS. We do that with every industry in the state except COAL.. Timber operators are paying almost EQUAL amounts to Compensation as they do in Wages. We the STATE let COAL OPERATORS skip out on COMPENSATION DEBTS as a reward to their workers already as Compensation has tried for years to collect BILLIONS in Comp DEBTS with little or no help from other STATE AGENCYS.... I can see where this is going as Don Blankenship has warned Joe he is a one term Governor... Guess you got him in your pocket now Don.
Y'all been gettin' down witchya bad selves, ain't cha? LOL
Here's one I seem to recall *somebody* (I won't mention any names, missy) swore I made up:
Here comes old Rosie She's looking mighty fine Here comes hot Nancy She's steppin' right on time There go the street lights Bringin' on the night Here come the men Faces hidden from the light All through the shadows They come and they go With only one thing in common They got the fire down below.
How about this: My 9-year-old comes home the other day, singing "Has he lost his mind? Can he see or is he blind? Can he walk at all? Or if he moves, will he fall?" ... I busted out laughing. Recognize it?
According to 4th graders, this is "cool" & "hot" & "awesome" & "NEW"!! LOL
Just slip out the back, Jack No need to be coy, Roy, Just set yourself free, Lee.
50 Ways to Leave Your Lover???
Rose, you've got me nuts now thinking of the good ole' days. No Rap. lol. Loved those 80's hair bands. Actually, still do. Motley Crue, here I come. woohoo
Hello. I love you. Won't you tell me your name? Hello. I love you. Let me jump in your game. She's walking down the street, blind to every eye she meets. Do you think you'll be the guy To make the queen of the angels sigh?
And how about this oldie...definitely a catchy tune. LOL
I'm Henry the Eighth I am Henry the Eighth I am, I am I got married to the widow next door She's been married seven times before And every one was an Henry (Henry) She wouldn't have a Willie or a Sam. (No sir) I'm her eighth old man named Henry. Henry the Eighth, I am. Second verse, Same as the first.

That particular song? Do you remember it? It's so fast I dont think I could've picked up the lyrics even if I hadn't been drinking. Well that last part I could pick out! Although I do think I remember the words to:
Born down in a dead man’s town The first kick I took was when I hit the ground You end up like a dog that’s been beat too much Till you spend half your life just covering up
If ya wanna be happy for the rest of your life, don't make a pretty woman your wife. From my personal point of view, pick a ugly woman to marry you. lol
LOL Y'all are GOOD! I think we should have a karaoke night at the Apple Festival. Doesn't matter if you can't carry a tune - you won't screw up the rhythm stumbling over the words, that's for sure!
You show us everything you've got You keep on dancin' and the room gets hot You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy You say you wanna go for a spin The party's just begun, we'll let you in You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin' I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
Down in dry county They're swimming in the sand Praying for some holy water To wash the sins from off our hands Here in dry county The promise has run dry Where nobody cries And no one's getting out of here alive

Yeah, it's me again, Rose. I'm still lovin' this. Looks as if others are having fun with it too.
Number 47 said to number 3, You're the cutest jailbird I ever did see. Sure would like to have your company, come on and do the Jail House Rock with me. Let's rock, everybody, let's rock, Everybody on the whole cell block Was dancin' to the Jail House Rock.
It's early morning. The sun comes out. Last night was shaking And pretty loud. My cat is purring And scratches my skin. So what is wrong With another sin?
Wanna tell you a story, 'Bout a woman I know When it comes to lovin', She steals the show She ain't exactly pretty, Ain't exactly small Forty-two, thirty-nine, fifty-six, You could say she's got it all!
I was cuttin a rug at place called the Jug, with gal named Linda Lou. Wait minute mister, didn't mean to kiss her. ... Gimme 3 steps, gimme 3 steps mister, 3 step to the door. Gimme 3 steps and you won't see me no more.
1, 2,...come on baby, if you wanna see other guys, maybe I can let it slide. Come on baby, finish what you started cause I'm incomplete. That ain't no way to treat the broken hearted, baby come on finish what you started.
I said baby, baby, don't you hesitate 'Cause I just can't wait Baby, won't you take me down to my knees You can do what you please Come on and love me...
Almost heaven, WEST VIRGINIA Blue Ridge Mountains Shenandoah River - Life is old there Older than the trees Younger than the mountains Growin’ like a breeze
Country roads, take me home To the place I belong West virginia, mountain momma Take me home, country roads
All my memories gathered 'round her Miner’s lady, stranger to blue water Dark and dusty, painted on the sky Misty taste of moonshine, teardrops in my eye
Country roads, take me home To the place I belong West Virginia, mountain momma Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice In the mornin’ hour she calls me The radio reminds me of my home far away And drivin’ down the road I get a feelin’ That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home To the place I belong West Virginia, mountain momma Take me home, country roads
Country roads, take me home To the place I belong West Virginia, mountain momma Take me home, country roads Take me home, now country roads Take me home, now country roads
Ah, WVChic, "smooth" doesn't begin to cover it. Just something about a growlin' man in polyester with perfect hair that just makes me ... oh, never mind. BAHAHAHAHA
(Um ... you probably should be glad you couldn't see my face while I was typing that. You'd have just died of embarrassment for both of us. teeheehee)
When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more And the morning breaks eternal bright and fair When the saved on earth shall gather over on the other shore And the roll is called up yonder I'll be there
Some glad morning when this life is ore, I'll fly way. To that home on Gods celestial shore, I'll fly away. I'll fly away, oh glory, I'll fly way.
I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore,.... Sinking to rise no more. But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry. And from the waters lifted me, Now safe am I. Love lifted me, Love lifted me, When nothing else could help, Love lifted me.
Just because we like the groovey butt grinding, foot stomping, get down and dirty music doesn't mean we are heathens. lol.
Hot child in the city, getting down and lookin pretty.
I worship You Almighty God There is none like you I worship you O Prince of Peace That is what I long to do I give You praise For You are my righteousness I worship You Almighty God There is none like You
Beautiful, that's how mercy saw me Though I was broken and so lost Mercy looked past all my faults The justice of God saw what I had done But mercy saw me through the Son Not what I was but what I could be That's how mercy saw me
& through it all, this one's always been my favorite & always been my philosophy for life.
I'm only human, I'm just a woman. Help me believe in what I can be and all that I am. Show me the stairway, I have to climb Lord, for my sake, teach me to take One day at a time.
One day at a time, Sweet Jesus, That's all I'm asking of you. Just give me the strength to do every day, What I have to do. Yesterday's gone, Sweet Jesus, and tomorrow may never be mine. Lord help me today, show me the way, One day at a time.
Do you remember, when you walked among me? Well, Jesus, you know, if you're looking below, It's worse now than then. Pushing and shoving, violence and crime So for my sake, teach me to take One day at a time.
One day at a time, Sweet Jesus, That's all I'm asking of you. Just give me the strength to do every day, What I have to do. Yesterday's gone, Sweet Jesus, and tomorrow may never be mine. Lord help me today, show me the way, One day at a time.
Drop kick me, Jesus through the goal posts of life End over end, neither left nor to right Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights Drop kick me, Jesus through the goal posts of life

Kenny Rogers] Baby when i met you, there was peace on earth I set out to get you with a fine tooth comb I was soft inside, there was something going on
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton] You do something to me, that i can't explain Hold me closer, and i feel no pain Every beat of my heart, we got something goin' on
[Kenny Rogers] Tender love is blind, it requires a dedication
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton] Honest love, we feel, needs no conversation And we ride it together, uh huh, Making love with each other uh huh
Islands in the stream, that is what we are. No one in between, how can we be wrong. Sail away with me, to another world and we rely on each other, uh huh from one lover to another, uh huh
[Dolly Parton] I can't live without you if the love was gone Everything is nothin if youv'e got no one, and you just walk in the the night slowly losing sight of the real thing.
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton] But that won't happen to us, and we got no doubt Too deep in love, and we got no way out and the message is clear, this could be the year for the real thing
[Dolly Parton] No more will you cry baby i will hurt you never
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton] we start and end as one in love forever We can ride it together, uh huh Makin' love with each other, uh huh
Islands in the stream, that is what we are No one in between, how can we be wrong Sail away with me. to another world And we rely on each other, uh huh From one lover to another, uh huh
[Kenny Rogers] (Sail away)
[Dolly Parton] (Ohhhhh, sail away with me)
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton] islands in the stream, that is what we are No one in between, how can we be wrong sail away with me, to another world And we rely on each other, uh huh from one lover to another, uh huh
Islands in the stream, that is what we are No one in between, how can we be wrong sail away with me, to another world And we rely on each other, uh huh From one lover to another, uh huh
This song should touch everyone hearts It is one of my all time favorites especially for anyone that is a daddys girl or just loves there father in general
I remember daddy's hands folded silently in prayer and reaching out to hold me when I had a nightmare you could read quite a story in the caluses and lines years of work and worry had left their mark behind
I remember daddy's hands how they held my momma tight and patted my back for something done right there are things that i've forgotten that I loved about the man but I'll always remember the love in daddy's hands
[chorus] Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was cryin Daddy's hands were hard as steel when I'd done wrong Daddy's hand weren't always gentle but I've come to understand there was always love in daddy's hands
I remember daddy's hands working til they bled sacrificed unselfishly just to keep us all fed If I could do things over, I'd live my life again and never take for granted the love in daddy's hands
[chorus] Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was cryin Daddy's hands were hard as steel when I'd done wrong Daddy's hand weren't always gentle but I've come to understand there was always love in daddy's hands [repeat
This song have so many memories to me about my grandfather that i no longer have I hope it brings back memories for you as well
Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days Sometimes it feels like this worlds gone crazy Grandpa, take me back to yesterday When the line between right and wrong Didn't seem so hazy
(Chorus)
Did lovers really fall in love to stay And stand beside each other, come what may Was a promise really something people kept Not just something they would say Did families really bow their heads to pray Did daddies really never go away Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Grandpa, everything is changing fast We call it progress, but I just don't know And grandpa, Let's wander back into the past And paint me the picture of long ago
(Repeat Chorus)
Did lovers really fall in love to stay And stand beside each other come what may Was a promise really something people kept Not just something they would say and then forget Did families really bow their heads to pray Did daddies really never go away Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
This one is for my mother it is her all time favorite
TUESDAY'S GONE
Train, roll on, on down the line. Won't you, please, take me far away. Now I feel the wind blow outside my door. Means I'm, I'm leaving my woman at home. Tuesday's gone with the wind. Oh, my baby's gone with the wind. And I just don't know, oh, where I'm going. I just want to be left alone. Well, when this train ends I'll try again Oh, but I'm leaving my woman at home. Tuesday's gone with the wind. Tuesday's gone with the wind. Tuesday's gone with the wind. My baby's gone with the wind. Train, roll on, Tuesday's gone. Train, roll on many miles from my home. See I'm, I'm riding my blues away, yeh. Tuesday, you see, she had to be free. Lord, but somehow I've got to carry on. Tuesday's gone with the wind. Tuesday's gone with the wind. Tuesday's gone with the wind. My baby's gone with the wind. Train, roll on 'cause my baby's gone.. I'm riding my blues away, baby Turn around my blues Ride on, train, ride on, train Riding my blues, babe Come back to me, babe Come back to me Oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooh train..
I always did love this tune. Anyone else remember it?

Charlie drives a brand new Mercedes Benz. He's got another one just like it, just like all his friends. His wife is playing tennis and his kids are off at school. He drives home to his empty house. It's by his empty swimming pool. But he's got power windows. He's got power brakes. He's got a power bed, push a button and it shakes. He's got noone to talk to and tears rollin' down his face. He ain't got the power of love.
Lewis drives a beat up '69 Dart, Swears it's the statue of Mary that keeps the car from fallin' apart. With Gracie right beside him, sittin' closer than a smile She's got her head on his shoulder. He loves to drive and hold her. He ain't got no power windows, got no power brakes. He ain't got no power of nothing but he got what it takes He's got Gracie's arms around him and a smile on his face. He's got the power of love.
No air condition, no cellular telephone He goes rumbling down the highway, Listening to his AM radio. One arm out the window and a smile upon his face. Makes you wonder how it got there till you see him look at Grace... See him look at Grace.
He's got the power Ain't that the power of love...
Big wheels keep on turning Carry me home to see my kin Singing songs about the Southland I miss Alabamy once again And I think it’s a sin, yes
Well I heard Mr Young sing about her Well, I heard ole Neil put her down Well, I hope Neil Young will remember A Southern man don’t need him around anyhow
Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet home Alabama Lord, I’m coming home to you
He was a hard-headed man he was brutally handsome And she was terminally pretty She held him up and he held for ransom In the heart of the cold, cold city He had a nasty reputation as a cruel dude They said he was ruthless said he was crude They had one thing in common They were good in bed She said, faster, faster. the lights are turning red.
Life in the fast lane Surely make you lose your mind
I see a little silhouetto of a man, Scaramouche,scaramouche will you do the fandango- Thunderbolt and lightning-very very frightening me- Galileo,galileo, Galileo galileo Galileo figaro-magnifico- But i'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me- He's just a poor boy from a poor family- Spare him his life from this monstrosity- Easy come easy go-,will you let me go- Bismillah! no-,we will not let you go-let him go- Bismillah! we will not let you go-let him go Bismillah! we will not let you go-let me go Will not let you go-let me go Will not let you go let me go No,no,no,no,no,no,no- Mama mia,mama mia,mama mia let me go- Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me-
I guess I thought you'd be here forever Another illusion I chose to create You don't know what ya got until it's gone And I found out a little too late
I was acting as if you were lucky to have me doin' you a favor I hardly knew you were there But then you were gone and it was all wrong Had no idea how much I cared
Now being without you Takes a lot of getting used to Should learn to live with it But I don't want to Living without you Is all a big mistake Instead of getting easier It's the hardest thing to take I'm addicted to you babe You're a hard habit to break
You found someone else you had every reason You know I can't blame you for runnin' to him two people together but livin alone I was spreading my love too thin
After all of these years I'm still tryin' to shake it Just takes time but deep in the night it's an endless flight I can't get ya out of my mind
Now being without you Talkes a lot of getting used to Should learn to live with it But I don't want to Living without you Is all a big mistake Instead of getting easier It's the hardest thing to take I'm addicted to you babe You're a hard habit to break
Being without you Takes a lot of gettin used to Should learn to live with it I don't want to Being without you Is all a big mistake Instead of getting any easier It's the hardest thing to take I'm addicted to you You're a hard habit to break
If you leave me now You'll take away the biggest part of me Ooh, no, baby please don't go And if you leave me now You'll take away the very heart of me Ooh, no, baby please don't go Ooh, girl, I just want you to stay
A love like ours is love that's hard to find How could we let it slip away We've come too far to leave it all behind How could we end it all this way When tomorrow comes and we both regret The things we said today
A love like ours is love that's hard to find How could we let it slip away We've come too far to leave it all behind How could we end it all this way When tomorrow comes and we both regret The things we said today
If you leave me now You'll take away the biggest part of me Ooh, no, baby please don't go
Everybody needs a little time away, I heard her say, from each other. Even lover's need a holiday ... far away ... from each other. Hold me now. It's hard for me to say I'm sorry. I just want you to stay.
After all that we've been through, I will make it up to you. I promise to. And after all that's been said and done, You're just the part of me I can't let go.
Couldn't stand to be kept away, just for the day, from your body. Wouldn't wanna be swept away, far away, from the one that I love. Hold me now. It's hard for me to say I'm sorry. I just want you to know. Hold me now. I really want to tell you I'm sorry. I could never let you go.
After all that we've been through, I will make it up to you. I promise to. And after all that's been said and done, You're just the part of me I can't let go. After all that we've been through, I will make it up to you. I promise to.
Is love so fragile... and the heart so hollow Shatter with words... impossible to follow You're saying I'm fragile...I try not to be I search only...for something I can't see
I have my own life...and I am stronger Than you know But I carry this feeling When you walked into my house That you won't be walking out the door Still I carry this feeling When you walked into my house That you won't be walking out the door
Lovers forever...face to face My city, your mountains Stay with me stay I need you to love me I need you today Give to me your leather... Take from me...my lace
You in the moonlight With your sleepy eyes Could you ever love a man like me And you were right When I walked into your house I knew I'd never want to leave Sometimes I'm a strong man Sometimes cold and scared And sometimes I cry But that time I saw you I knew with you to light my nights Somehow I'd get by First time I saw you I knew with you to light my nights Somehow I would get by
Lovers forever...face to face My city, your mountains Stay with me stay I need you to love me I need you today Give to me your leather Take from me...my lace
Here's one that isn't depressing, anonymous. LOL ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Down in Lou'siana where the black trees grow live a voodoo lady named Marie Lavaux She got a black cat tooth and a mojo bone and anyone wouldn't leave her alone She go WEEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
She live in a swamp in a hollow log with a one eyed snake and a three legged dog She got a bent bony body and stringy hair and if she ever seen you messin' round there She go WEEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
And then one night when the moon was black into the swamp came Handsome Jack A no good man that you all know and he was lookin' around for Marie Lavaux
He said Marie Lavaux you lovely witch why don't you gimme a little charm gonna make me rich He said now gimme million dollars and I'll tell you what I'll do, this very night I'm gonna marry you It'll be WEEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
So Marie did some magic and she shook a little sand, she made a million dollars and she put it in his hand Then she looked and she said hey hey, Now I'm gettin' ready for my wedding day But ol' Handsome Jack said "Good-bye Marie, you too d*mn ugly for a man like me" So Marie started cryin', her fangs started shakin', her body started turnin', she started quakin' She said WEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
So if you ever get down where the black tree grow and meet a voodoo lady named Marie Lavaux And if she ever asks you to make her your wife, man you better stay with her for the rest of your life Or it'll be WEEEEEEEEEEEE....
I never meant 2 cause u any sorrow I never meant 2 cause u any pain I only wanted 2 one time see u laughing I only wanted 2 see u laughing in the purple rain
Hey, hey baby, I wanna know if you'll be my girl. Saw ya walkin down the street Said that's the kinda girl I'd like to meet. She's so pretty, she's so fine, Gonna make her mine, all mine. Hey, hey baby. I wanna know if you'll be my girl.
Depressing??! Let me just throw this out here. The 3 I posted earlier are all Chicago songs. They bring back ... memories ... that make me ... smile. Sometimes, long after it's relevant to life in general, it's therapeutic to remember you're living The Good Life because someone in your past trampled on your heart. It's also good to remind that person of all they could've had & all that could've been, just to rub their nose in it. This can all be accomplished by one simple song. Or 3.
Turn it up some Alright boys, this is her favorite song You know that right So, if we play it good and loud She might get up and dance again Ooh, she put her beer down Here she comes Here she comes Left left left right left Whoo
Husslers shootin' eightball Throwin' darts at the wall Feelin' damn near 10 ft. tall Here she comes, Lord help us all Ol' T.W.'s girlfriend done slapped him outta his chair Poor ole boy, it ain't his fault It's so hard not to stare At that honky tonk badonkadonk Keepin' perfect rhythm Make ya wanna swing along Got it goin' on Like Donkey Kong And whoo-wee Shut my mouth, slap your grandma There outta be a law Get the Sheriff on the phone Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on That honky tonk badonkadonk (Aww son)
Now Honey, you can't blame her For what her mama gave her You ain't gotta hate her For workin' that money-maker Band shuts down at two But we're hangin' out till three We hate to see her go But love to watch her leave With that honky tonk badonkadonk Keepin' perfect rhythm Make ya wanna swing along Got it goin' on Like Donkey Kong And whoo-wee Shut my mouth, slap your grandma There outta be a law Get the Sheriff on the phone Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on With that honky tonk badonkadonk (Ooh, that's what I'm talkin' bout right there, honey)
We don't care bout the drinkin' Barely listen to the band Our hands, they start a shakin' When she gets the urge to dance Drivin' everybody crazy You think you fell in love Boys, you better keep your distance You can look but you can't touch That honkey tonk badonkadonk Keepin' perfect rhythm Make ya wanna swing along Got it goin' on Like Donkey Kong And whoo-wee Shut my mouth, slap your grandma There outta be a law Get the Sheriff on the phone Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on That honky tonk badonkadonk
That honky tonk badonkadonk Yeah, that honky tonk badonkadonk
(That's it, right there boys, that's why we do what we do It ain't for the money, it ain't for the glory, it ain't for the free whiskey It's for the badonkadonk)
Oh, I think the d*mn dog was a bit overfed. Then again, it was a big dog. ROFLMAO
City girls just seem to find out early How to open doors with just a smile A rich old man And she won't have to worry She'll dress up all in lace and go in style
Late at night a big old house gets lonely I guess ev'ry form of refuge has its price And it breaks her heart to think her love is Only given to a man with hands as cold as ice
So she tells him she must go out for the evening To comfort an old friend who's feelin' down But he knows where she's goin' as she's leavin' She is headed for the cheatin' side of town
You can't hide your lyin' eyes And your smile is a thin disguise I thought by now you'd realize There ain't no way to hide your lyin eyes
On the other side of town a boy is waiting with fiery eyes and dreams no one could steal She drives on through the nice anticipating 'Cause he makes her feel the way she used to feel
She rushes to his arms, They fall together She whispers that it's only for awhile She swears that soon she'll be comin' back forever She pulls away and leaves him with a smile
You can't hide your lyin' eyes And your smile is a thin disguise I thought by now you'd realize There ain't no way to hide you lyin' eyes
She gets up and pours herself a strong one And stares out at the stars up in the sky Another night, it's gonna be a long one She draws the shade and hangs her head to cry
She wonders how it ever got this crazy She thinks about a boy she knew in school Did she get tired or did she just get lazy? She's so far gone she feels just like a fool
My, oh my, you sure know how to arrange things You set it up so well, so carefully Ain't it funny how your new life didn't change things You're still the same old girl you used to be
You can't hide your lyin eyes And your smile is a thin disguise I thought by now you'd realize There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes Honey, you can't hide your lyin' eyes
This is the song that never ends. That's just the way it goes my friends. Someone started singing it not knowing what it was And they'll continue singing it forever just because...
Are you gonna take me home tonight All down beside that red firelight Are you gonna let it all hang out Fat bottomed girls You make the rockin' world go round
Hey I was just a skinny lad Never knew no good from bad But I knew life before I left my nursery - huh Left alone with big fat fanny She was such a naughty nanny You big woman you made a bad boy out of me Hey hey!
Should I stay or should I go now? Should I stay or should I go now? If I go there will be trouble An' if I stay it will be double So come on and let me know

Great green gobs of greasy, grimey, gopher guts, Little bit ol' monkey meat, Little bitty dirty birdy feet. Pale pink piles of petrified lizard guts, Swimmin' in a sauce of worms!
Swimmin' in a sauce of worms, Swimmin' in a sauce of worms, Great green gobs of greasy, grimey, gopher guts, Swimmin' in a sauce of worms!

till you die…yeah
LOL I love that song!!!! Of course when I used to sing it many many years ago there seemed to be some chronic lyricosis involved.
Good one Sloopy!!

This might make you squirm also or Dance to the PoLLs;;;;;
Once again the governor of the state of Wv and some legislators have the Cranial Dungitis Disease as they prepare a REWARD for the 18 Coal Miners Killed already this year.
Here is the solution to the mine disasters as to date;;;;;;;;;;;;;
We The State Tax Dept. need to give the Underground Coal Operators a Tax Break so they can make our underground mines a safer place to work for our coal miners.

Here comes old Rosie
She's looking mighty fine
Here comes hot Nancy
She's steppin' right on time
There go the street lights
Bringin' on the night
Here come the men
Faces hidden from the light
All through the shadows
They come and they go
With only one thing in common
They got the fire down below.
LOL
Love Stinks!
Love Sucks!
Love Hurts.
SO

LAY DOWN, SALLY.
I remember when rock was young
Me and Suzie had so much fun
holding hands and skimming stones
Just slip out the back, Jack
No need to be coy, Roy,
Just set yourself free, Lee.
50 Ways to Leave Your Lover???
Rose, you've got me nuts now thinking of the good ole' days. No Rap. lol. Loved those 80's hair bands. Actually, still do. Motley Crue, here I come. woohoo
Time keeps on slippin' slippin' into the future....
I fought the law and the law won..
I see the bad moon arising.
I see trouble on the way.
Hello.
I love you.
Won't you tell me your name?
Hello.
I love you.
Let me jump in your game.
She's walking down the street,
blind to every eye she meets.
Do you think you'll be the guy
To make the queen of the angels sigh?
And how about this oldie...definitely a catchy tune. LOL
I'm Henry the Eighth I am
Henry the Eighth I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She's been married seven times before
And every one was an Henry (Henry)
She wouldn't have a Willie or a Sam. (No sir)
I'm her eighth old man named Henry.
Henry the Eighth, I am.
Second verse,
Same as the first.
omg, look what the cat dragged in,
livin' my life sin after sin.
Night rolls up and I do it again,

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...
I used to love it for a great dance song. I'd probably be hospitalized now if I tried to keep up with that one!

You actually know the words to the songs we used to dance to??? You listened to the words??? Obviously, I was dancing with better looking ... um ... never mind. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Oh, yer mama don't dance and yer daddy don't rock & roll
Don't start with me...you know I know waaaaaaay too much!!!!!!
That particular song? Do you remember it? It's so fast I dont think I could've picked up the lyrics even if I hadn't been drinking. Well that last part I could pick out!
Although I do think I remember the words to:
Hit the road Jack!
I think what you mean to say is, "I know WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY TOO MUCH!!!!"
I was doing good to stand up & remember that my name was Joanna - actually LISTEN to the words?? Amazing. LOL
the ring of fire, the ring of fire!!!!!!!
Born down in a dead man’s town
The first kick I took was when I hit the ground
You end up like a dog that’s been beat too much
Till you spend half your life just covering up
Born in the u.s.a., I was born in the u.s.a.
If ya wanna be happy for the rest of your life, don't make a pretty woman your wife. From my personal point of view, pick a ugly woman to marry you. lol
Mornin' Rose and all. Have great day. Later.
Sheena was a man
so I threw him out
I don't fool around with no Oscar Meyer weiner
you must be sure that the girl is pure for the funky cold medina
LOL Y'all are GOOD! I think we should have a karaoke night at the Apple Festival. Doesn't matter if you can't carry a tune - you won't screw up the rhythm stumbling over the words, that's for sure!
You show us everything you've got
You keep on dancin' and the room gets hot
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You say you wanna go for a spin
The party's just begun, we'll let you in
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin'
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
(& then you pass out ....)
GOOD MORNING, ALL!!
Everybody's Workin for the Weekend,

15 miles to the... Love Shack! Love Shack yeah
Good Morning Conchita!!!
I'm on the
Highway To Hell
AND
I Can't Drive 55
You can't go on
Thinking nothing's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home tonight
Down in dry county
They're swimming in the sand
Praying for some holy water
To wash the sins from off our hands
Here in dry county
The promise has run dry
Where nobody cries
And no one's getting out of here alive
Older Women,
Make Beautiful Lovers.
Older Women,
They Understand.
I've been around some
& I have discovered
That older women know
Just how to please a man.
I've got the world on a string,
got that string tied around my little finger.
What a life, what a world.
I'm in love. !♥♥♥!
Well, I'm hot blooded, check it and see
I got a fever of a hundred and three
Come on baby, do you do more than dance?
I'm hot blooded, I'm hot blooded
You don't have to read my mind, to know what I have in mind
Honey you oughta know
Now you move so fine, let me lay it on the line
I wanna know what you're doin' after the show
Everywhere around the world, there's a brand new beat.
Summer's here and the time is right for dancin' in the streets.
Don't we wish!!!!
Oh, I love the nightlife. I like to boogie on the disco highway.
Don't go talkin' about love tonight, I want some action, I wanna live. Action, I've got so much go give...
That's the way I like it, uh huh, uh huh, ... lol.
Yeah, it's me again, Rose. I'm still lovin' this. Looks as if others are having fun with it too.
Number 47 said to number 3,
You're the cutest jailbird
I ever did see.
Sure would like to have your company,
come on and do the Jail House Rock with me.
Let's rock, everybody, let's rock,
Everybody on the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jail House Rock.
Oh.. you can't roller skate in a buffalo herd...
It's early morning.
The sun comes out.
Last night was shaking
And pretty loud.
My cat is purring
And scratches my skin.
So what is wrong
With another sin?
Wanna tell you a story,
'Bout a woman I know
When it comes to lovin',
She steals the show
She ain't exactly pretty,
Ain't exactly small
Forty-two, thirty-nine, fifty-six,
You could say she's got it all!
LOL Oh, brulz, we got Bob & KISS & Jon & ... OMG, THERE'S ELVIS!! What's not to love?? Hmm. Looks like we're missing one of my favorites, though ....
There's a lotta ways of sayin
What I wanna say to you
There's songs & poems & promises
And dreams that might come true
But I won't talk of starry skies
And moonlight on the ground,
I'll just come right out and tell you
I'd just love to lay you down ...
Everybody was kung-fu fighting
Those cats were fast as lightning
In fact it was a little bit frightning
But they fought with expert timing
Come back baby, rock & roll never forgets.
Hey momma its the way you move,
gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove.
I don't know but I've been told,
I feel that soman ain't got no soul.
I was cuttin a rug at place called the Jug, with gal named Linda Lou.
Wait minute mister, didn't mean to kiss her. ... Gimme 3 steps, gimme 3 steps mister, 3 step to the door.
Gimme 3 steps and you won't see me no more.
Baby, when I think about you, I think about Love. I feel like makin' feel like makin love.
Baby, if I think about you, I think about love. If I live without you, I live without love.
1, 2,...come on baby, if you wanna see other guys, maybe I can let it slide. Come on baby, finish what
you started cause I'm incomplete.
That ain't no way to treat the broken hearted, baby come on finish what you started.
I said baby, baby, don't you hesitate
'Cause I just can't wait
Baby, won't you take me down to my knees
You can do what you please
Come on and love me...
This one shoulda been first!
Almost heaven, WEST VIRGINIA
Blue Ridge Mountains
Shenandoah River -
Life is old there
Older than the trees
Younger than the mountains
Growin’ like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
All my memories gathered 'round her
Miner’s lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrops in my eye
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice
In the mornin’ hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin’ down the road I get a feelin’
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West Virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
Take me home, now country roads
Take me home, now country roads
Ah, WVChic, "smooth" doesn't begin to cover it. Just something about a growlin' man in polyester with perfect hair that just makes me ... oh, never mind. BAHAHAHAHA
(Um ... you probably should be glad you couldn't see my face while I was typing that. You'd have just died of embarrassment for both of us. teeheehee)
I Wanna Be A Cowboy.
Don't Call Him A Cowboy 'til You've Seen Him Ride ...
Rose, did ya hear jimmy schoonover passed away this morning.
When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time shall be no more
And the morning breaks eternal bright and fair
When the saved on earth shall gather over on the other shore
And the roll is called up yonder I'll be there
Ms Rose ya can't be all bad listening to CCR hahahha
Cracklin rose, you’re a store bought woman
You make me sing like a guitar hummin’
"you can see a million miles tonight but you cant get very far"
counting crows
Some glad morning when this life is ore, I'll fly way.
To that home on Gods celestial shore, I'll fly away.
I'll fly away, oh glory, I'll fly way.
I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore,....
Sinking to rise no more.
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry.
And from the waters lifted me,
Now safe am I.
Love lifted me, Love lifted me,
When nothing else could help,
Love lifted me.
Just because we like the groovey butt grinding, foot stomping, get down and dirty music doesn't mean we are heathens. lol.
Hot child in the city,
getting down and lookin pretty.
I worship You Almighty God
There is none like you
I worship you O Prince of Peace
That is what I long to do
I give You praise
For You are my righteousness
I worship You Almighty God
There is none like You
Beautiful, that's how mercy saw me
Though I was broken and so lost
Mercy looked past all my faults
The justice of God saw what I had done
But mercy saw me through the Son
Not what I was but what I could be
That's how mercy saw me
oops. runnin' wild and lookin' pretty.
Goodness, gracious, Great Balls of Fire. You shook my nerves and you rattled by brain. Too much lovin' drive a man insane.
& through it all, this one's always been my favorite & always been my philosophy for life.
I'm only human, I'm just a woman.
Help me believe in what I can be and all that I am.
Show me the stairway, I have to climb
Lord, for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
One day at a time, Sweet Jesus,
That's all I'm asking of you.
Just give me the strength to do every day,
What I have to do.
Yesterday's gone, Sweet Jesus,
and tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way,
One day at a time.
Do you remember, when you walked among me?
Well, Jesus, you know, if you're looking below,
It's worse now than then.
Pushing and shoving, violence and crime
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
One day at a time, Sweet Jesus,
That's all I'm asking of you.
Just give me the strength to do every day,
What I have to do.
Yesterday's gone, Sweet Jesus,
and tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way,
One day at a time.
Drop kick me, Jesus through the goal posts of life
End over end, neither left nor to right
Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights
Drop kick me, Jesus through the goal posts of life
Good morning, Rose and all. This thread sure has been fun. Love "One Day at a Time" also. Are ya gonna keep this going for a while longer?
Oh, what a beautiful morning.... lol. Have great day.
One bourbon, one scotch, one beer
No I ain't seen my baby since the night before last,
gotta get a drink man I'm gonna get gassed
Gonna get high man I ain't had enough,
need me a triple shot of that stuff
Gonna get drunk won't you listen right here,
I want one bourbon, one shot and one beer
One bourbon, one scotch, one beer
Someone told me long ago There's a calm before the storm,
I know; It's been comin' for some time.
When it's over, so they say, It'll rain a sunny day,
I know; Shinin' down like water.
CHORUS:
I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain?
I want to know, Have you ever seen the rain
Comin' down on a sunny day?
Yesterday, and days before, Sun is cold and rain is hard,
I know; Been that way for all my time.
'Til forever, on it goes Through the circle, fast and slow,
I know; It can't stop, I wonder.
CHORUS
Yeah!
CHORUS
DOWN ON THE CORNER
Early in the evenin' just about supper time,
Over by the courthouse they're starting to unwind.
Four kids on the corner trying to bring you up.
Willy picks a tune out and he blows it on the harp.
CHORUS:
Down On The Corner, out in the street,
Willy and the Poorboys are playin';
Bring a nickel; tap your feet.
Rooster hits the washboard and people just got to smile,
Blinky, thumps the gut bass and solos for a while.
Poorboy twangs the rhythm out on his kalamazoo.
Willy goes into a dance and doubles on kazoo.
CHORUS
CHORUS
You don't need a penny just to hang around,
But if you've got a nickel, won't you lay your money down?
Over on the corner there's a happy noise.
People come from all around to watch the magic boy.
CHORUS

Kenny Rogers]
Baby when i met you, there was peace on earth
I set out to get you with a fine tooth comb
I was soft inside, there was something going on
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton]
You do something to me, that i can't explain
Hold me closer, and i feel no pain
Every beat of my heart, we got something goin' on
[Kenny Rogers]
Tender love is blind, it requires a dedication
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton]
Honest love, we feel, needs no conversation
And we ride it together, uh huh,
Making love with each other uh huh
Islands in the stream, that is what we are.
No one in between, how can we be wrong.
Sail away with me, to another world
and we rely on each other, uh huh
from one lover to another, uh huh
[Dolly Parton]
I can't live without you if the love was gone
Everything is nothin if youv'e got no one,
and you just walk in the the night
slowly losing sight of the real thing.
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton]
But that won't happen to us, and we got no doubt
Too deep in love, and we got no way out
and the message is clear, this could be the year for the real
thing
[Dolly Parton]
No more will you cry
baby i will hurt you never
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton]
we start and end as one
in love forever
We can ride it together, uh huh
Makin' love with each other, uh huh
Islands in the stream, that is what we are
No one in between, how can we be wrong
Sail away with me. to another world
And we rely on each other, uh huh
From one lover to another, uh huh
[Kenny Rogers]
(Sail away)
[Dolly Parton]
(Ohhhhh, sail away with me)
[Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton]
islands in the stream, that is what we are
No one in between, how can we be wrong
sail away with me, to another world
And we rely on each other, uh huh
from one lover to another, uh huh
Islands in the stream, that is what we are
No one in between, how can we be wrong
sail away with me, to another world
And we rely on each other, uh huh
From one lover to another, uh huh
This song should touch everyone hearts It is one of my all time favorites especially for anyone that is a daddys girl or just loves there father in general
I remember daddy's hands folded silently in prayer
and reaching out to hold me when I had a nightmare
you could read quite a story in the caluses and lines
years of work and worry had left their mark behind
I remember daddy's hands how they held my momma tight
and patted my back for something done right
there are things that i've forgotten that I loved about the man
but I'll always remember the love in daddy's hands
[chorus]
Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was cryin
Daddy's hands were hard as steel when I'd done wrong
Daddy's hand weren't always gentle but I've come to understand
there was always love in daddy's hands
I remember daddy's hands working til they bled
sacrificed unselfishly just to keep us all fed
If I could do things over, I'd live my life again
and never take for granted the love in daddy's hands
[chorus]
Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was cryin
Daddy's hands were hard as steel when I'd done wrong
Daddy's hand weren't always gentle but I've come to understand
there was always love in daddy's hands
[repeat
This song have so many memories to me about my grandfather that i no longer have I hope it brings back memories for you as well
Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Sometimes it feels like this worlds gone crazy
Grandpa, take me back to yesterday
When the line between right and wrong
Didn't seem so hazy
(Chorus)
Did lovers really fall in love to stay
And stand beside each other, come what may
Was a promise really something people kept
Not just something they would say
Did families really bow their heads to pray
Did daddies really never go away
Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Grandpa, everything is changing fast
We call it progress, but I just don't know
And grandpa, Let's wander back into the past
And paint me the picture of long ago
(Repeat Chorus)
Did lovers really fall in love to stay
And stand beside each other come what may
Was a promise really something people kept
Not just something they would say and then forget
Did families really bow their heads to pray
Did daddies really never go away
Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
Woah oh, grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days
This one is for my mother it is her all time favorite
TUESDAY'S GONE
Train, roll on, on down the line.
Won't you, please, take me far away.
Now I feel the wind blow outside my door.
Means I'm, I'm leaving my woman at home.
Tuesday's gone with the wind.
Oh, my baby's gone with the wind.
And I just don't know, oh, where I'm going.
I just want to be left alone.
Well, when this train ends I'll try again
Oh, but I'm leaving my woman at home.
I'm riding my blues away, baby
Turn around my blues
Ride on, train, ride on, train
Riding my blues, babe
Come back to me, babe
Come back to me
Oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooh train..
I always did love this tune. Anyone else remember it?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Charlie drives a brand new Mercedes Benz.
He's got another one just like it, just like all his friends.
His wife is playing tennis and his kids are off at school.
He drives home to his empty house.
It's by his empty swimming pool.
But he's got power windows.
He's got power brakes.
He's got a power bed,
push a button and it shakes.
He's got noone to talk to and tears rollin' down his face.
He ain't got the power of love.
Lewis drives a beat up '69 Dart,
Swears it's the statue of Mary that keeps the car from fallin' apart.
With Gracie right beside him, sittin' closer than a smile
She's got her head on his shoulder.
He loves to drive and hold her.
He ain't got no power windows,
got no power brakes.
He ain't got no power of nothing but he got what it takes
He's got Gracie's arms around him and a smile on his face.
He's got the power of love.
No air condition,
no cellular telephone
He goes rumbling down the highway,
Listening to his AM radio.
One arm out the window and a smile upon his face.
Makes you wonder how it got there till you see him look at Grace...
See him look at Grace.
He's got the power
Ain't that the power of love...
My Mother's and I'm sure a lot others, favorites.I love them too.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I'm found,
Was blind but now I see.
And this one:
I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses.
And the voice I hear falling on my ear, the Son of God is calling.
And, He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own and the Voice I hear falling on my ear, none other I've ever known.
Hope I got the words right. These are such beautiful and inspiring hymns.
Dont go riding on that long black train. The devil is driving that long black train.
I don't know where they come from, but I went to the doctor and he gave me the cure...Cat Scratch Fever.
You got mud on your face,
somebody better put you back in your place ... We will, we will
ROCK YOU.
I AM THE LORD OF THE WASTELAND!
A MODERN DAY MAN OF STEEL!
I GATHER DARKNESS TO PLEASE ME
AND I COMAND YOU TO KNEEL!
Big wheels keep on turning
Carry me home to see my kin
Singing songs about the Southland
I miss Alabamy once again
And I think it’s a sin, yes
Well I heard Mr Young sing about her
Well, I heard ole Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don’t need him around anyhow
Sweet home Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet home Alabama
Lord, I’m coming home to you
Crazy, but that’s how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
Maybe it’s not to late
To learn how to love
And forget how to hate
Mental wounds not healing
Life’s a bitter shame
I’m going off the rails on a crazy train
He was a hard-headed man he was brutally handsome
And she was terminally pretty
She held him up and he held for ransom
In the heart of the cold, cold city
He had a nasty reputation as a cruel dude
They said he was ruthless said he was crude
They had one thing in common
They were good in bed
She said, faster, faster.
the lights are turning red.
Life in the fast lane
Surely make you lose your mind
I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche,scaramouche will you do the fandango-
Thunderbolt and lightning-very very frightening me-
Galileo,galileo,
Galileo galileo
Galileo figaro-magnifico-
But i'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me-
He's just a poor boy from a poor family-
Spare him his life from this monstrosity-
Easy come easy go-,will you let me go-
Bismillah! no-,we will not let you go-let him go-
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let him go
Bismillah! we will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go-let me go
Will not let you go let me go
No,no,no,no,no,no,no-
Mama mia,mama mia,mama mia let me go-
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me-
I guess I thought you'd be here forever
Another illusion I chose to create
You don't know what ya got until it's gone
And I found out a little too late
I was acting as if you were lucky to have me
doin' you a favor I hardly knew you were there
But then you were gone and it was all wrong
Had no idea how much I cared
Now being without you
Takes a lot of getting used to
Should learn to live with it
But I don't want to
Living without you
Is all a big mistake
Instead of getting easier
It's the hardest thing to take
I'm addicted to you babe
You're a hard habit to break
You found someone else you had every reason
You know I can't blame you for runnin' to him
two people together but livin alone
I was spreading my love too thin
After all of these years
I'm still tryin' to shake it
Just takes time
but deep in the night it's an endless flight
I can't get ya out of my mind
Now being without you
Talkes a lot of getting used to
Should learn to live with it
But I don't want to
Living without you
Is all a big mistake
Instead of getting easier
It's the hardest thing to take
I'm addicted to you babe
You're a hard habit to break
Being without you
Takes a lot of gettin used to
Should learn to live with it
I don't want to
Being without you
Is all a big mistake
Instead of getting any easier
It's the hardest thing to take
I'm addicted to you
You're a hard habit to break
If you leave me now
You'll take away the biggest part of me
Ooh, no, baby please don't go
And if you leave me now
You'll take away the very heart of me
Ooh, no, baby please don't go
Ooh, girl, I just want you to stay
A love like ours is love that's hard to find
How could we let it slip away
We've come too far to leave it all behind
How could we end it all this way
When tomorrow comes and we both regret
The things we said today
A love like ours is love that's hard to find
How could we let it slip away
We've come too far to leave it all behind
How could we end it all this way
When tomorrow comes and we both regret
The things we said today
If you leave me now
You'll take away the biggest part of me
Ooh, no, baby please don't go
Everybody needs a little time away,
I heard her say, from each other.
Even lover's need a holiday ... far away ... from each other.
Hold me now. It's hard for me to say I'm sorry.
I just want you to stay.
After all that we've been through, I will make it up to you.
I promise to.
And after all that's been said and done,
You're just the part of me I can't let go.
Couldn't stand to be kept away, just for the day,
from your body.
Wouldn't wanna be swept away, far away,
from the one that I love.
Hold me now. It's hard for me to say I'm sorry.
I just want you to know.
Hold me now. I really want to tell you I'm sorry.
I could never let you go.
After all that we've been through,
I will make it up to you. I promise to.
And after all that's been said and done,
You're just the part of me I can't let go.
After all that we've been through,
I will make it up to you.
I promise to.
You're gonna be the lucky one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. WHATEVER. >;^]
Is love so fragile...
and the heart so hollow
Shatter with words...
impossible to follow
You're saying I'm fragile...I try not to be
I search only...for something I can't see
I have my own life...and I am stronger
Than you know
But I carry this feeling
When you walked into my house
That you won't be walking out the door
Still I carry this feeling
When you walked into my house
That you won't be walking out the door
Lovers forever...face to face
My city, your mountains
Stay with me stay
I need you to love me
I need you today
Give to me your leather...
Take from me...my lace
You in the moonlight
With your sleepy eyes
Could you ever love a man like me
And you were right
When I walked into your house
I knew I'd never want to leave
Sometimes I'm a strong man
Sometimes cold and scared
And sometimes I cry
But that time I saw you
I knew with you to light my nights
Somehow I'd get by
First time I saw you
I knew with you to light my nights
Somehow I would get by
Lovers forever...face to face
My city, your mountains
Stay with me stay
I need you to love me
I need you today
Give to me your leather
Take from me...my lace
Man ya'll are depressing
DAY BEGINS
The rain falls gently from the sky
Birds hauntingly sing their sweet songs
The glorious sun rises over the mountain
Casting the light of God's beautiful smile
The flowers dance as they open to the morning sun
The animals enjoy play as they scamper in the breeze
That we might be upon this earth
To enjoy the wonders of God's creations
We were blessed when we were given life
It rests on us to make God proud
There could never be a greater gift
Than knowing we live as each day begins!
Here's one that isn't depressing, anonymous. LOL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Down in Lou'siana where the black trees grow live a voodoo lady named Marie Lavaux
She got a black cat tooth and a mojo bone and anyone wouldn't leave her alone
She go WEEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
She live in a swamp in a hollow log with a one eyed snake and a three legged dog
She got a bent bony body and stringy hair and if she ever seen you messin' round there
She go WEEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
And then one night when the moon was black into the swamp came Handsome Jack
A no good man that you all know and he was lookin' around for Marie Lavaux
He said Marie Lavaux you lovely witch why don't you gimme a little charm gonna make me rich
He said now gimme million dollars and I'll tell you what I'll do, this very night I'm gonna marry you
It'll be WEEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
So Marie did some magic and she shook a little sand, she made a million dollars and she put it in his hand
Then she looked and she said hey hey, Now I'm gettin' ready for my wedding day
But ol' Handsome Jack said "Good-bye Marie, you too d*mn ugly for a man like me"
So Marie started cryin', her fangs started shakin', her body started turnin', she started quakin'
She said WEEEEEEEEEEE another man done gone
So if you ever get down where the black tree grow and meet a voodoo lady named Marie Lavaux
And if she ever asks you to make her your wife, man you better stay with her for the rest of your life
Or it'll be WEEEEEEEEEEEE....
I never meant 2 cause u any sorrow
I never meant 2 cause u any pain
I only wanted 2 one time see u laughing
I only wanted 2 see u laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain Purple rain
Purple rain Purple rain
Purple rain Purple rain
Hey, hey baby, I wanna know if you'll be my girl.
Saw ya walkin down the street
Said that's the kinda girl I'd like to meet.
She's so pretty, she's so fine,
Gonna make her mine, all mine.
Hey, hey baby. I wanna know if you'll be my girl.
Hello Josephine How do you do ,do you rememeber me baby like I remember you.bla bla bla
Or 3.
I HOPE THE DAMN DOG DIED. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
NOT depressing ... LOL
Turn it up some
Alright boys, this is her favorite song
You know that right
So, if we play it good and loud
She might get up and dance again
Ooh, she put her beer down
Here she comes
Here she comes
Left left left right left
Whoo
Husslers shootin' eightball
Throwin' darts at the wall
Feelin' damn near 10 ft. tall
Here she comes, Lord help us all
Ol' T.W.'s girlfriend done slapped him outta his chair
Poor ole boy, it ain't his fault
It's so hard not to stare
At that honky tonk badonkadonk
Keepin' perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin' on
Like Donkey Kong
And whoo-wee
Shut my mouth, slap your grandma
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on
That honky tonk badonkadonk
(Aww son)
Now Honey, you can't blame her
For what her mama gave her
You ain't gotta hate her
For workin' that money-maker
Band shuts down at two
But we're hangin' out till three
We hate to see her go
But love to watch her leave
With that honky tonk badonkadonk
Keepin' perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin' on
Like Donkey Kong
And whoo-wee
Shut my mouth, slap your grandma
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on
With that honky tonk badonkadonk
(Ooh, that's what I'm talkin' bout right there, honey)
We don't care bout the drinkin'
Barely listen to the band
Our hands, they start a shakin'
When she gets the urge to dance
Drivin' everybody crazy
You think you fell in love
Boys, you better keep your distance
You can look but you can't touch
That honkey tonk badonkadonk
Keepin' perfect rhythm
Make ya wanna swing along
Got it goin' on
Like Donkey Kong
And whoo-wee
Shut my mouth, slap your grandma
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how's she even get them britches on
That honky tonk badonkadonk
That honky tonk badonkadonk
Yeah, that honky tonk badonkadonk
(That's it, right there boys, that's why we do what we do
It ain't for the money, it ain't for the glory, it ain't for the free whiskey
It's for the badonkadonk)
The d*mn dog did die....nobody fed it.... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Oh, I think the d*mn dog was a bit overfed. Then again, it was a big dog. ROFLMAO
City girls just seem to find out early
How to open doors with just a smile
A rich old man
And she won't have to worry
She'll dress up all in lace and go in style
Late at night a big old house gets lonely
I guess ev'ry form of refuge has its price
And it breaks her heart to think her love is
Only given to a man with hands as cold as ice
So she tells him she must go out for the evening
To comfort an old friend who's feelin' down
But he knows where she's goin' as she's leavin'
She is headed for the cheatin' side of town
You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin eyes
On the other side of town a boy is waiting
with fiery eyes and dreams no one could steal
She drives on through the nice anticipating
'Cause he makes her feel the way she used to feel
She rushes to his arms,
They fall together
She whispers that it's only for awhile
She swears that soon she'll be comin' back forever
She pulls away and leaves him with a smile
You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide you lyin' eyes
She gets up and pours herself a strong one
And stares out at the stars up in the sky
Another night, it's gonna be a long one
She draws the shade and hangs her head to cry
She wonders how it ever got this crazy
She thinks about a boy she knew in school
Did she get tired or did she just get lazy?
She's so far gone she feels just like a fool
My, oh my, you sure know how to arrange things
You set it up so well, so carefully
Ain't it funny how your new life didn't change things
You're still the same old girl you used to be
You can't hide your lyin eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes
Honey, you can't hide your lyin' eyes
Can you imagine my poor dad driving us to Grandma's house listening to his girls singing the whole 3-hour ride....
My kitty has gone from her basket.
My kitty has gone up a tree.
Oh, who will go up in the branches
And bring back my kitty to me?
Bring back, bring back, Oh, bring back my kitty to me, to me. And then we would start all over again.
The man had the patience of a saint. lol
This is the song that never ends.
That's just the way it goes my friends.
Someone started singing it not knowing what it was
And they'll continue singing it forever just because...
LOL
i'm a - - tch
I'm a lover
Who let the dogs out
(woof, woof, woof, woof)
(woof, woof, woof, woof)
(woof, woof, woof, woof)
(woof, woof, woof, woof)
Are you gonna take me home tonight
All down beside that red firelight
Are you gonna let it all hang out
Fat bottomed girls
You make the rockin' world go round
Hey I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before I left my nursery - huh
Left alone with big fat fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
You big woman you made a bad boy out of me
Hey hey!
"josephine..., your so good to me, i know it aint easy. josephine , you must taste just like sugar.., and tangerines..."

99 bottles of beer on the wall,
99 bottles of beer.
Take 1 down, pass it around,
98 bottles of beer on the wall ...
Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
An' if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know
Ooooooohhhhhh, I taste like a booger,
But I look like a worm
Betcha never seen a booger that could squirm!
I'll be here when ya sneeze,
I'll be here when ya cough,
'cause I'm stuck on your finger
& ya can't shake me off ...
because I ....
taste like a booger,
But I look like a worm
Betcha never seen a booger that could squirm!
I'll be here when ya sneeze,
I'll be here when ya cough,
'cause I'm stuck on your finger
& ya can't shake me off ...
because I ....
OMG...I haven't heard that in forever, Rose. LMAO Here's another one that made me think of. :P
Nobody likes me, everybody hates me,
Guess I'll go eat worms,
Long, thin, slimy ones; Short, fat, juicy ones,
Itsy, bitsy, fuzzy wuzzy worms.
Down goes the first one, down goes the second one,
Oh how they wiggle and squirm.
Up comes the first one, up comes the second one,
Oh how they wiggle and squirm.
Here's one of my favorite older tunes...
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
ahhhhh smileytd you sing like an angel
LOL....Shoulda' been at Big Otter Friday night. I did quite a bit of singing that night. hahaha
So you want old songs do you.
How about "I love you, I love you said the little blue man and she pushed him right over the edge.
But then she heard, "I don't think I love you anymore"
If all else fails, back up and punt!
Good morning Rosie Sunshine,
Why did you wake so soon?
You frightened all the stars
And scared away the moon!
Great green gobs of greasy, grimey, gopher guts,
Little bit ol' monkey meat,
Little bitty dirty birdy feet.
Pale pink piles of petrified lizard guts,
Swimmin' in a sauce of worms!
Swimmin' in a sauce of worms,
Swimmin' in a sauce of worms,
Great green gobs of greasy, grimey, gopher guts,
Swimmin' in a sauce of worms!
(One of my favorites for Grandma's house - it'd gross her out every time. LOL)
Is This Over yet?
My Ding a Ling Oh My Ding a Ling They Caught Me Playing With My Ding a Ling!
Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-Lam)
Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-Lam)
Black Betty had a child
(Bam-ba-Lam)
The damn thing gone wild
(Bam-ba-Lam)
She said, "I'm worryin' outta mind"
(Bam-ba-Lam)
The damn thing gone blind
(Bam-ba-Lam)
I said Oh, Black Betty
(Bam-ba-Lam)
Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-Lam)
