BICKMORE, W.Va. (WSAZ)--The Clay County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal accident that happened on Route 16, near Bickmore.
It happened about 11:45 Tuesday night.
We're told that it was a single vehicle accident.
The name of the victim has not been released.
Anybody know anything?
I noticed that over on AW's blog that some of the raunchy comments that were made about him are now deleted and he has set the blog so that he has to approve the comments. How sensitive.
Heard about the fatal accident from the flower shop, heard about another fatal accident up Maysel way, and also a male,don't know age, hung himself on triplett ridge. Must be a gag order on all this goings on, or AW would be chirpin about it!
Channel 3 has released the name Crystal Jones from the wreck at Bickmore last night.
I haven't heard anything about anything else.
For all of AW's touting that he's the "only source for news!" in Clay, he's not very timely ...
Heard several more peopel in the car with her but don't know the names.
AW isn't sayin anything about Nathan Stephenson either. He was put in jail after he got drunk and naked and tried to rob a store.
Just for information's sake- Nathan didn't try to rob the store, according to the Charleston Daily Mail. He was fighting.

Here's what I think is interesting about comments like this one - I don't know Bruce Cunningham beyond the fact that he was my teacher in high school. I have no idea who Roy is. To my knowledge, I've never set foot in their business. Yet now my opinion of the overall package is colored by an anonymous comment made by someone who could simply be making things up as they go along.
The only difference between gossip & a public awareness warning is the level of truth involved.
Frankly, if someone is willing to offer a [INSERT YOUR OWN WORD] to a shriveled up business owner in exchange for a pack of smokes & a bottle of pop, I'm not sure the business owner is the only sicko involved in the transaction.
That anonymous sounded like he/she was disgruntled because he/she missed out on the [INSERT YOUR OWN WORD] activity.
LOL Sorry ... I just can't imagine. But trying is a great appetite suppressant.
It's sad that we now live in a society where its "fun" to hurt others and can get away with being anonymous. I know, I have been hurt personally by blogs on other sites as well as on here in the past. Please understand, I agree with the right to have free speech and expressing your opinions, that is what so many have given their lives for, but stop hurting each other. Instead of putting each other down, why not try to get to know the person, in REAL life. These sites are great for keeping each other informed and up to date on information we might not be able to get otherwise. Life is hard enough, especially right now, so just remember it might be someone else today, but tomorrow it could be you that someone is writting about. Don't judge others, becasue we all react differently in situations. It saddens me that others have viewed me as someone who feels "I am better than others", believe me I AM NOT! I wanted those around me in the apartments to start having some pride in themselves, and I worked VERY hard to get Fran, Pete and others to listen to how things were. Now, they ARE making changes and its for the better. I am so sorry others think that because I cared about where I lived, and how safe my child was, they felt I was a bad person. Its sad no one really got to know me, and its even sadder that they never even wanted to know me, but I am proud that things are finally getting done, albeit too late for some, but changes are happening. I am a HARD working, single mom, who has helped more people in this community, and I am NOT from here, and have treated those who others have judged by their family names, with respect and honor. I have gone toe to toe with abusive ex spouses, put myself in front of trucks so that others can leave without being followed by a crazy ex, made sure there was a safe place for those in fear, offered friendship to those others "say" are bad people,listened to others in pain and always tried to make things better. I have stayed up late many nights and held those who were scared and afraid, opened my home to some in need, and always backed my son when others have hurt him. I am raising him to not use violence as an answer, but use his mind as a solution. I AM NOT PERFECT and I don't wish to be. But please people stop hurting each other and start helping each other. We now face in this Nation, a situation that will only get worse, and we need to help our neighbors and family because tomorrow might be the end. We are all different and we all are trying to make sense of things around us. When I have been wronged, I get mad, and I usually voice my opinion, but I never set out to hurt someone. I have been mislead in situations and have been left hanging in the wind, but I get up the next day and start over. I make it a point to never bring my personal problems into work, I greet everyone, and I mean EVERYONE with a friendly smile and try to be nice. I am proud of myself, I am working and providing for my son and showing him that even when others try to hurt you, its how you treat them that matters. To those who feel I have wronged them, I am sorry, but I also am VERY sure there were valid, good reasons why I reacted the way I did. I have heard from day one, on how I am NOT from around here, but its funny how at least I have tried to make here a better place for all. As my friend the attorney said...in life we get to meet good people in the worst time in their lives and meet the bad ones at their best. But how you treat them shows what kind of person YOU are. When it was at the worst time at HSA there were a few who ALWAYS treated me nice and I am so grateful in many ways of those simple kindnesses and its those kindnesses that make life worth every minute. So stop the crap and start healing, the person you might save could be YOU!

To make the round trip on the little buggy, they usually wait for a group, costs around $175.00. Wanta ride it by your self and the engineer, you foot the whole bill. Maybe AW should call that excursion ride, retardism instead of tourism!

Nothing I said had anything to do with Cunninghams, I am not friends with them nor do I know of anything that happens there and more importantly I DON'T WANT to know. It aint my business and it isn't yours either, that WAS my point, I am just sick that you all would rather hurt your neighbor instead of helping them. How sad for all of you. Lisa Ann Heidebrecht, 38, slouched in her chair as provincial court Judge Larry Anderson issued his decision. Some in the packed courtroom smiled and clapped softly, others wept.
Anderson said his decision was influenced in part by the fact that Heidebrecht made no effort to get counselling for the gambling addiction that motivated her embezzlement.
He said her claims of remorse ring hollow because she has also failed to repay any of the nearly $190,000 she stole from the Riviera Bingo Association.
More than $120,000 of that money should have gone to 30 area charities, whose volunteers worked at the bingo hall to raise money for their causes.

Funny though, I researched her too when I was looking up my school buddies. I was married to a Heidebrecht and I have NEVER been in jail. So nice to know you can google but sorry it aint me :) And also for the record, I am 43! But now I know just who you are...If I ever had that much money, I wouldn't be in Clay, I would be on some Island enjoying the surf. The only few google things that were MINE ie: comments about the radio station and that I attended the WV State Bar Association. But hey at least you can google..LOL

Do you even know her ex richard? I do, he is a dead beat. He has a son with my cousin Karen and he doesn't pay support for him, don't call or visit with him at all. Karen has raised him the last 15 years with no help. Richard even worked under the table for years to avoid child support.
I can tell you lots more on the guy. Like how he was accused of raping his first wifes daughter, how he has multiple domestic violence charges against him and so on.
mp isn't a saint but she did nothing but better herself by getting rid of that loser.
