The Class of 1981 will be having their 30 year class reunion. The Class of 1981 - that graduated 30 years ago!!- is my brother, Alan's, class. I hope each & every one of them have lived their lives as fully as he did.

Well as you know the Ace Flube reporter has taken this week off also and hasn't had an upgrade on his site as of yet. Guess that government grant money is still tiding him through another month of vacations on the taxpayers.

Seniors are getting insurance payments. Social Security is an insurance policy.COLA is based on the inflation rate. No COLA for two years because there is no inflation. I wonder if Orama knows any more jokes.

If a persons SS check is under a certain amount, along with what ever extra income they may have, and that amount total I believe is $1187.00 a month, have the right to file for low income extra help through the state.
The state pays your medicare premium.
That premium is at this time is $115.00 a month.
That .08% will put a whole lot of people over the top, thus saving the goverment a hell of a lot of money.
They will disqualify you if your a dollar over.
Now that above amount is based on a one person household. Ad a wife, ad a kid, the amount goes up.
Reguardless, that small .08% can still put you over the top.
In my case I will get $8.00 and medicare premiums always go up, so had that put me over the top, they the goverment would of saved well over a hundred bucks.
Orama giveth and Orama taketh away.
Go back 37 years and see how many times ERT has socked it to the people of Wv. He is doing nothing but helping to bring about higher taxes and less chances of being hired to the working people in Wv unless you are on the state or county dole.

If he was a bad guy 37 years ago he must have gotten religion or something and reformed. Repealing the 6% food tax is not raising taxes.
No COLA for 2012
Now the Bloomberg report has the COLA up to 3.5% for 2012.
Time will tell.
The COLA has not even been published yet.

Joe Mansion was the one who established doing away with the food tax. ERT has had nothing to do with another one cent tax being cut. Its a dwindle down situation where it should have never been on food to start with but once again the only people who do not pay for anything in this state are the welfare leaches.
Like all politicos ERT taking the credit when there is no credit to be taking but convincing some he is the man. Time after time he has stood in the way of laws being passed to benefit the people of Wv but pushed for laws benefiting himself as usual.
As for the COLA for the disabled and the seniors of the USA not one person should be guilty of voting for Obama, Rockefeller, or Rahall in 2012 or anyone else who thinks the way they do.
Rockefeller wants to give amnesty to the illegals in this country. He says they have the right to be here as they come in anyway. He should have been sent packing when he came to Wv but you can sell people in Wv a sack of sh!t if you can convince them its free.
