Vent Line

No holding, no "Press 1 for English," no specific topic.
No names (the sissies can't take it & I don't want to hear from them, so please be creative)
& keep it relatively clean (gotta love that * button!).

Have we done this one before??

I'm not really a chronic complainer ... teeheehee ...

Here's a helpful little site for when you're having days like I'm having: Talk To A *%$#! Human Being

Dear Rose,

I have a complaint. I'm hungry and I really don't know what it is that I want to eat. Nothing I have in my kitchen looks like that still unknown food that I'm looking for. Any suggestions?

Signed,
Rumbly Tummy

Oh wait...this is a vent line, not an advice column. LMAO In that case, I'm hungry and can't find anything good to eat. haha

ROSE said...

Hmm. A Dear Abby line next time?? lol

My son is having this same issue. Why can't y'all be satisfied with Cap'n Crunch (food of the gods & goddesses) like the rest of us?? LOL

SmileyTD said...

Cap'n Crunch would be good...if I had any. LOL I must be breaking some kind of "unwritten law for Moms" by not keeping it fully stocked up for my kids. :P

I finally just settled on a ham sandwich. That didn't really hit the spot, but at least I'm not hungry anymore. LOL

There's always Go-Mart. They're there for me 24/7 when I get hungry. Might be a little dried up, but better than having to fix myself something in the middle of the night.

SmileyTD said...

That's true. They're always open and there's always some kind of food to be found...but I've had enough Go-Mart food to last me for a lifetime. I worked there for three years. LOL

ROSE said...

Smiley, I thought of you after I was forced to fix myself some nacho dip. I made a REALLY BIG dish full this time since I don't have any more Cap'n Crunch to supplement it. LOL Fortunately, if (when) I eat all the Fritos (and I will), there are plenty of tortilla chips. teeheehee

I wonder what it says about me that I always try to find some reason to head to Clay on Wednesdays just because it's chicken liver day at GoMart?? LOL

WVChic, I'm here to rant & rave & carry on to you for an hour (or 3 LOL) anytime you want to take your mind off your own problems. LOL

Ol' stupid me ... all this grub & no Pepto. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

OH man!!!! I have a great big brand new box of Cap'n Crunch with CRUNCH BERRIES (bonus! bonus!) and I'd much rather have the ham sandwhich (got the bread, got the swiss, got the spicey mustard mayo mix spread, but I ain't got the ham!) or nacho dip (just got chips). Tradeja!!!

I think the next topic (after Dear Abby LOL) should be,

Oh, yeah? You think YOU got problems? Well listen to this ... LOL

I've always been told God won't give you a mountain you can't climb. Honestly, though, I think sometimes He grossly overestimates the quality of my hiking boots.

WOOOHOOO!! Trade nuthin' - sounds to me like betwixt us all, we've got the makin's of a party!!

Anonymous said...

I got beer.

SmileyTD said...

I'll bring the ham....and the dessert. :P It'll be a heckuva get-together. LOL

Hey I'm hoping Clyde has two sides, I'll sit on the other one!!! Clyde? I haven't seen ya here before, but if you have beer you're always welcome!!!

What's going on WVChic??!!
I'm busy plannin' a road trip! Details to ya later!!!
Count me in for the party! I'll bring the Cap'n Crunch. I have Apple Jacks too if anyone prefers more "produce" in their sugar laiden cereals!!

Hey, Clyde. Welcome.

Let's see, Cheerios for breakfast.
Little Chocolate-Covered Donuts for lunch. Baked Potato w/broccoli & cheese for dinner. For me, that's a well-rounded diet.

Now, ready for the beer.

Sorry some are having bad times.

WOOOOHOOOO!!

The dip's goin' fast, but I got plenty of stuff for another batch! Hmm. & I just picked up another 4 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to go with the 2 I already had. (Who said beer doesn't go with cookies??)

PAR-DEE!!! Anybody gotta karaoke machine??

See?? Who needs to vent when we're so good at throwin' together a party to forget all about it?? LOL

SmileyTD said...

My daughter has a karaoke machine. I'll bet that she'd let me borrow it. After all, it's for a good cause....a "Let's Cheer Up WVChic (and Ourselves While We're At It)" party!! :P LOL

ROSE said...

I think we should limit our music selection to just disco. Guaranteed giggle fest! LOL

(Bring your own Depends - I just got new carpet. LMAO)

Here's another little link that really has nothing to do with anything, but it is fun. LOL

Glad to hear you're feeling better, wvchic.

SmileyTD said...

You're welcome WVChic. Sometimes, things can get a bit overwhelming...even if it is just momentarily. I think we all know how that is and what it can make you feel like. It's great that you're feeling better, though. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rose, I took that little "test" and got 8/10. Not too shabby for someone who's half asleep. LOL I agree with ILP on that first guy, too. He just HAD to be a criminal of some kind. haha
Anonymous said...
words of wisdom ::::: never trust beady eyes. Give DD some bubble gum smileytd tell him its from his buddy. hahaha.
By the way all 10 are criminals
SmileyTD said...
Hahaha...I'll definitely do that. That'll make him happy. :)
You're absolutely right, too. They are all criminals. Told ya' I was half asleep...but I knew what I meant to say. hahahaha :P
Well I found my way home, Rose! And I got 7 out of 10, I guess some times what you see is not what you get in what a person looks like! DJE
wvchic you gotta be bent outta shape especially if your house is like mine.. Whatever will tare up does and all at the same time usually. Had lightening strike a couple years back and for months I was replacing anything that used electric as it fried it enuff so it din't work after awhile. Still finding stuff that has gave up.Certainly glad I had insurance for all the big stuff that went that day. Still had to shell out over $2000. so we could eat drink and be merry.
ROSE said...
LOL YIKES!
Ya know, WVChic, I had a guy tell me that same thing. Never knew how strong I'd become until I slugged him one day. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Welcome back, Silly Goose. You just click that link periodically & make sure we haven't left you behind again. LOL
& I think all 10 of those guys are criminals - otherwise, wouldn't they have demanded those horrific pictures be taken off the internet? LOL
