Since many read AW's Gossip colume and get a bad impression of me through the eyes and mouth of Tom And Freda Auxier and my side of the story is not told in AW's paper.

Last Sunday around 4 P.M. just as they reported the music started on the Auxiers 33 acre not 38 acre mountainside. The music and Fellowship was very loud as my home is 7/10ths of a mile from Auxiers, across the top of the mountain in another hollow and I could hear over that distance. Now through their ears they may not of heard a thing but remember I am almost a mile away.
I called the Wv State Police in South Charleston and let them hear what I was hearing over the phone. The noise was escessively loud and the cop on duty sent out a trooper to get the noise turned down.
My mother is 91 years old and don't need the windows jarred out of her home at less then 2/10ths mile away.
Just my opinion but the 50 people that was at the shindig I doubt heard a thing because the music was deafening. Maybe they are all hard of hearing but from my porch I didn't have any trouble hearing the Braying (opps singing).
Now AW printed on his site that this would be a good time to bring in the ACLU against the government. Remember now the cop in South Charleston could hear the bellering over my phone and at 7/10ths of a mile you should not be able to hear anything coming from someone elses home.
The last time I checked I still have a right to live in peace and quiet as I live in a hollow up Sycamore and theres noone else around within a half mile. I think I should not have to listen to anything I don't want to hear.

Also AW keeps referring to a land dispute between me and the Auxiers which is not at all true. I have had my land surveyed by Banks Engineering, Board surveying, Prine Surveying and all have found the same common boundarys. I also had a friend that worked under Bethleham Steels License to survey part of my land. After all the surveying I don't need anyone to tell me what or where I own as it is all recorded at the Clay County Courthouse. I know exactly what I own and where it all lays. Its cost me thousands of dollars to find out what I bought and paid for.

Subject: Your Auxier Buddy

Last Sunday evening about 4 o:clock the loud music started and being as my mothers home is located two tenths of a mile from Auxiers and the windows being rattled even at my house 7/10 ths of a mile from Auxiers So called Christian Gathering I called the Wv State Police and let them listen to the music as I heard it 7/10 ths of a mile away. If I could hear it that far away you can imagine how loud it was since I am in the next hollow over. God only knows it was to loud for even a Methodist to hear it close up.

Call it a land dispute or what ever you want to call it but there is no such thing going on. I have had my land surveyed twice by licensed surveyors, once by a friend who surveyed under license from Bethelem Steel Energy company so noone has any argument as to where I own. Borders to Auxiers have been surveyed at least four times in the past 35 years also.

I have a right to peace and quiet on my property and I do not have to nor will I listen to noise from Auxiers or anyone else if I can get the law out here to tone it down. This is country side and normal noise I will put up with but braying like a JackAss I do not have to listen to. You can bring in the ALCU, AFLCIO, FBI. and all the other letters of the Alphabet I to have rights. As reported by Billy R. TruMan

As you can see so far no posting on AW's site so I will post it here as its an email to him.

Why do you clean your own doorstep before starting on Evelyn? She is probably one the most honest, sincere and trustworthy people you could ever wish to meet.

As for the fued in sycamore. AW only prints one side of the story and then puts in his two cents (which aint worth that much) and doesnt get the other side at all. Might as well get used to it, cause he is going to kiss auxiers ass and thats it. I dont know either party personally but I wouldnt want my holler filled with music blariing. Last time I checked that was a violation of something or other to do with MY rights to peace and quiet. Blah.

You have to work for the school system to uphold Evelyn and her trash pit. Another upstanding board employee is David Wayne. How can a couselor guide teenagers to be a part of a community when there homes are cluttered with trash, litter, half falling down shacks. Yes my yard is neat and my home is respectable because I would like to make Clay a nice place to live. From your comment you must live in a slum. I agree that it is time names are named and cleanups are started.

Anonymous said...

Hi I'm CB and I live in a slum. Who wants to start cleaning my place up? I don't seem to be having much luck at it.

Anonymous said...

CB, you little tatter bug, how you been doing. Long time no hear.

ROSE said...

LOL Um ... I'm Rose & my yard is neat, my house is a wreck, my garage is in a constant state of being cleaned.

I'm seriously considering throwing everything currently in my house into my yard. Then my yard will be a mess (which is apparently OK in these parts), my house will be clean & nobody will be able to access the garage.

There are some homes in Clay that are used as landmarks solely because of the way they look. Y'all go cleaning up their yards & stuff & there's gonna be a lotta lost people milling about!

ROSE said...

LOL CB, the tatter bug!! LOL

WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!

TOm Auxiers just mad Trumen scored again.

Anonymous said...

Please let us not forget the Walter Schoonover eyesores-- those three trailers as you come in to Clay from Maysel,

Anonymous said...

Imagine a house trailer being picked up and thrown 3/4 of a mile.

ROSE said...

I'm trying to put this whole Truman/Auxier thing into perspective. Normally, you'd call the offending neighbor & ask nicely for them to tone it down a bit. I doubt seriously a polite phone call would have resolved anything in this case.

I live 8/10 of a mile out my road; about 7/10 of a mile from me, there lives a herd of cattle. Normally, when I hear those cows moooooooooo'ing, it's a lovely sound. If anybody ever hooks those cows up to a PA system, though .... y'all bring the potato salad, I'll supply the burgers!

The ACLU?? LOL C'mon, Andy, that's a stretch, even for you! You'd just as well go ahead & call Jesse Jackson, too!

When things get messy, call on Jesse .........

Hey! I have a watermelon! But alas, I don't need the wood anymore 'cause it's quite lovely out today!! This evening might be a different story, though.

I wonder what "lawsy" actually means? I reckon I ought not use words I don't really know the meaning of, but that one seems pretty benign, don'cha think?

I wonder, though, if the "theories" will ever be proven? Or disproven, as the case might be.

There's a book I read once ... can't remember the name of it ... where a family of Bigfoots (big feet??) were living peacefully in some remote part of the rain forest or something. Seems like a bunch of people died in that book, but I don't think the Bigfoots ate them or anything.

Vermont is the greenest state in the US. So who's at the bottom? Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Indiana and, at No. 50, West Virginia. All suffer from a mix of toxic waste, lots of pollution and consumption and no clear plans to do anything about it. Expect them to remain that way. (From a story on MSNBC.com)

I'd like to ask all of you that visit this page to go to the following link www.virtual-memorials.com and type in the name Stephen Hayes. His parents, sister and both sets of grandparents still need A LOT of prayer. Putting a face with the name helps sometimes.

They say that time heals all wounds. I honestly doubt that now.

Time, sometimes has a way of making the reality of it all, almost too much to bear. So please, send up some prayers for them.

Thank you.

Anonymous said...

Hey CB, it's official I am the best conversation stopper!! lol

That wasn't my intention at all. I just know that the family is still having a very difficult time and desperately need prayers. After a couple of weeks people move on and forget, I just wanted to remind people that they still need prayers.

Sorry Rose.. didn't mean to put a damper on things. Or maybe it's the rain??

Bull S#%*, the county commission pays for there fight they had last night.

Anonymous said...

Besides that, the 10 regional jails are private run.

ROSE said...

Who are they? What are they there for?

Where do you think the county commission gets its money??

If anybody thinks their tax dollars aren't being spent to fund criminals in some way, they're obviously not paying enough taxes.

Anonymous said...

And they want the taxpayers to keep that old Dundon Bridge for a few idiots to walk across in hopes tourists will flock in with dollars to keep the town alive. I think not isn't water to those who don't have any a little more important? Clay is dead and nothing is going to bring it to life especially a garbage bridge. If the old swinging bridge is not worth keeping then tear the old Dundon Bridge out and if they want a place to walk the dilapidated new bridge that cost millions will do just fine. If they are afraid to walk across the new bridge then just who is going to be brave enough to walk on the old one that in so dire of need to be replaced that it was top priority on the list instead of the main road through the county? Once again Hartland Bridge has holes where the road is falling into the river. Check out the center of the road when you cross it.

Anonymous said...

Let the people that signed the petition pay for the upkeep etc. Bet none of them is willing to put their money where their mouth is. In Evelyns case, that's a LOT of money!

Anonymous said...

"In Evelyns case, that's a LOT of money!"

LOL

Anonymous said...

I would rather go see the swinging bridge before I would look at that old eye sore the Dundon Bridge.

Anonymous said...

That is exactly my thought as to supporting that eyesore. Let the state take bids on tearing it down. I have my bid in already which is more then enough to pay for its removal as I would junk the entire structure saving millions of dollars to the taxpayers in Clayberry.

Have you ever noticed how the people that don't work always come up with these tax traps for the ones that do to pay? That bridge would become a liability to the county and eat up every loose dime they could find. Lets cut it up for junk and call it the best idea for the county for years.

I have an idea.

How about instead of taking repeating offenders & the idiot meth cookers/dealers to jail & costing the county money, we throw them from the bridge & save the county some money? Once the Higher Up Powers That Be get wind of our wicked ways, they will tear the bridge down for us & it'll be a non-issue!

Repeating offenders?? LOL

Whatever.

ROSE said...

Oh, but "we need the rain" ... aren't you tired of hearing that?! I just hope this rain isn't any indication of the snow that's on the way. BAHAHAHAHAHA EGADS!!

Last week, all the news people were hootin & hollerin about drought. Now they're hootin & hollerin about flooding.

Meanwhile, I have zero appreciation for thunder outside my window at 6:00 a.m.

Anonymous said...

Santa Claus is coming to town reeeal soon.

Anonymous said...

Ms Rose I don't think I need the rain like we been getting the last two days. Last summer it rained one mile from me and not a drop fell here on several occassions. Now we could have used it then but its hard to get firewood with rain pouring.
I heard on the news yesterday that we are in for a long wet winter so that means its going to be miserable I suppose. I can pass on that weather report as going to Florida to stay is just not an option to me, like California I would rather be here under the protection of our mountains.
Burning outdoors has been banded for now and maybe after this rain we won't have to worry about forest fires.
My thoughts about the fires in California is that you would have to be a total nutcase to live where the houses are falling off the side of a hill or worry about it burning to the ground in the fall of the year. With all that going on then there is the ocassional earthquake that destroys your home. Just a little more then I want to deal with.

I have a kid in elementary school. He told me this morning that he hasn't been outside for recess in three days. I asked him what they do instead. He said "In the morning we have to sit lined up in the hall until the bell rings because before school is teacher's time. At recess we just have to watch movies."

I recall when I was in elementary school we played dodge ball or some other equally evil game in the cafeteria on rain days. Plus we had PE *everyday* That was in addition to two other recesses.

Uh huh... go ahead and blame obese kids all on the parents.
Well, I started out talking about rain........

CB

Anonymous said...

He CB, how about you and me hit the town, any where but Clayberry.

Anonymous said...

big brother says come and see me let the snow fall

ROSE said...

Move over, CB, I wanna climb up on that soapbox with you! The time before school is for the teachers? Does that mean that planning periods are for the kids??

I agree, Anon. When you choose to build your $$million$$ home on the side of a mud heap, surrounded by some of the most prime firewood in the country, in the #1 state in the nation for forest fires ... well, ya know, if you can afford the insurance, I guess it's beautiful country ...

I don't really mind the rain so much, but lord, does it have to be so cold & dreary?? Bring on the rainbow already!!

Anonymous said...

You just hop right on up here, my soapbox is nice and big!!!

The thing that gets me is the movie during the lunch time recess (which alternates with "fun" worksheets, I understand)

Lunch time recess is the only chance for the kids to get any sort of physical activity at all and they substitute that with a worksheet or movie??? I bet then the teachers wonder why their students won't sit still and pay attention.

I meant to ask this a long time ago, when it was timely. Did y'all hear about Kenna Seals & what he said in Lincoln County? He's the head honcho at the WV Dept. of Ed's Office of Performance Audits. You know, the office that tells us all how our schools are doing, backs it all up with lovely bar graphs & spins it all with small, pretty words we'll hopefully repeat.

Ooops! LOL! I think I just need more coffee.

What do you want to talk about Anon???? Certainly you're full of millions of ideas. The Pakistan thing??? That's politics. I don't talk politics to anyone. Religion either. Or sports, but only because that is sooooo boring.
Perhaps we could talk about the sad state of the educational system in this state. It seems to be a reoccuring theme in my life.

Why was ambulance called to the high school today? Anybody know anything?

ROSE said...

Thanks for the tip, Anon, but I think I'll pass on Biden, Bush & Pakistan being the next topic. In fact, I think I'll pass on anything that has anything to remotely do with anybody remotely associated with any of those topics.

As for sports & religion ... maybe I'll add some music here & "Drop Kick Me, Jesus, Through the Goal Posts of Life" can become the new theme song. Remember that one? Bobby Bare? That'd cover both sports and religion in one fell swoop.

& don't even get me started on the sad sorry state of the "educational system" here. GRRRRRRR.

Which might just leave us "Fashion Tips for Dummies" as the next topic .............

There was an ambulance at the high school?? That's a little scary.

There is a lot of pregnant young girls going to Clay High, maybe one of them went into labor?

Anonymous said...

Now this is scary: One of the Roanoke, VA schools had a meeting about "unusual symptoms" in their shcool. Symptoms include severe headaches and dizziness. It is twitching, seizure like twitching" according to the WDBJ7 TV station web site. Several students have the symptoms and the school admin assures the public there's nothing to worry about. Nobody can find a reason for the symptoms (or at least are not telling what they know).

The animal comes out in all of us at times, maybe a choice few were in heat?

My neice told me that they currently have 60 pregnant girls at Clay County High. Maybe it is time to start handing out condoms and birth control with breakfast. We all know who is going to have to support these kids and it isnt going to be their parents who should have been watching them in the first place!

Hey Rose that can be your next topic. Teen Pregnancy.

I would like to know about the men that Andy talks about on his news page. Those men who sexually assault minors - why are they not in jail? Does the judge let them go home to do it again? Have they ever been incarcerated? Does anyone know what is going on?

Anonymous said...

I thought that snow man thing was a darn good idea!

I don't have my official fortune teller's license yet but I'm predicting someone is going to have a hard time finding a job in the future -

I don't think that dude's ever gonna be concerning himself with gainful employment, anyway.

Little black snowmen?? I like little black snowmen. teeheehee Now, I'm not prejudiced at all, but I don't much care for little yellow snowmen ...

Teen pregnancy as the next topic? Hmm. That might work.

Concerned Family Member, I sincerely hope all is well & Ms. Nutter is found safe & healthy in the very near future.

If y'all know anything about Joanna Nutter, remember that calls can be made to the state police anonymously.

Speaking of teen pregnancy Miners make better lovers, Huh?

Anonymous said...

Is that because miners work underground?

Concerned Family Member said...

As of 11:28am this morning, Joanna Nutter has been FOUND! She is safe and healthy. Thanks to everyone who has helped in the search for Joanna.

Am happy that she was found alive and well. Nice to have some good news. As to the post about the sexual assaults on minors, well many knew about our one local business leader but they were told to keep it quiet or be sued. When one has money and family connections things go unreported. This is something that has been happening for a long time. Don't blame the judges, blame the pros. attorney who FAILS to take action in a timely manner. He is the one who brings charges. JS won't go after anyone unless he knows he will WIN. Others before JS have been investigated for numerous charges. Hell the one I am refering to tied his partner to a tree then married her to keep her quiet. With the corrpution in the Sheriff's department and Magistrate's offices the county of Clay needs to VOTE these people out and get someones in there NOT afraid or paid off to NOT do their job! Just my opinion.

Anonymous said...

It is your civic duty to report any and all abuses against minors that you are aware of.

I vote to tar in feather JK, and use his own tar to do it with.

ARRGH! Its Pirates Week. Woo-hoo. Drinking and debauchery. The weather is (high pitched singing) GLOR-I-OUS! 80 degrees and no humidity. Windows are open and the fans are on.
How's the weather up there? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

PIRATES WEEK?? AAARRRGGGHHHH!!! I just got a new Tortuga catalog in the mail - give the pirates cake!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!! It's one thing to brag about the 80 degree weather, but that singing ... that's just a bit of overkill, don'cha think?? LOL

So glad to hear about Ms. Nutter! It's not often those kind of stories have happy endings. Or maybe the news media only tells us about the unhappy ones.

Miners go deep.
Strip miners ruin it for everybody else.
Coal in the hole keeps heat on the meat.
