Hey Happy Birthday Mr. M.!!!

I still think our families are related somehow. We'll have to sit down with our family tree books on your next visit out here!

Hope your birthday is a happy one!

CB

ROSE said...

You do realize, don't you, that if you're related to one of us, you're related to all of us! LOL

Hope it was a happy birthday!!

A whole week of dry, sunny weather is in the forecast! Place your bets now as to how wrong the forecasters might be ...

Anonymous said...

I'll bet they got it right by a 50/50 margin, thats what they do!

ROSE said...

LOL One beautiful day down, another 5 or 6 days to prove 'em right! I'm certainly rootin' for the weather people - I'm a little tired of rain rain rain.

Remember, the FDIC only insures up to $100,000 - better get out there & spread your nest eggs out to more than 1 basket! I wonder how many banks will now crash for that very reason? When people panic, even badder things happen.

Yeah-
I'veb left all my $100,000 cds in one place for too long.

Thanks for the reminder.

Anonymous said...

I heard Franks boy burned him out

ROSE said...

So when does Mr. Knotts go to trial?

Didn't I see Mark Bullard's picture on the CRJ website the other day?

Anyboby got any stimulus money left?

Anonymous said...

No "S" money left. The day after I got that my tax bill came in...

Anonymous said...

I paid taxes last week.
Got a new bill for more this week.

Never let it be said Randy isnt takin care of biz.

Breakfast burrito in one hand, whip in the other, prancing around the office making sure all those ladies are stuffing envelopes just as fast as they can.

I just finished a time-travel book about a guy who bounces back to the Civil War. As interesting as it was to read about life in 1864, it was just as interesting to realize that in 1988, when the book was written, "she was always amazed at how fast her dot matrix printer was." LOL

Does anybody know how to bypass the barriers of quantum physics & help me bounce back in time, too? I'd like to go back just far enough to insure my ancestors become disgustingly rich so I can be an heiress here in my own time.

ROSE said...

Never mind. I've discovered that the door to the past can be opened by simply going to sleep. YIKES! LOL

Have you ever dreamed about somebody (or several somebodies) you haven't seen in a long, long time & woken up wondering what the heck that was all about?

Me, too.

Anonymous said...

Average dream only lasts about 3 seconds-----

Anonymous said...

The nightmares seem to last much longer

ROSE said...

LOL I'm sure I don't know how long that dream I had last night lasted, but I know when I hit the snooze button & went back to sleep, it just picked up where I'd left off.

I will say, though, that if that particular dream took place in real life, it'd go waaaaaaaay beyond nightmare! Possibly for everyone involved. LOL

Anonymous said...

Musta been dreamin of the days with the CRPSD? Malissa Malissa< I'll get you Malissa!

Anonymous said...

see where the BOVFD found a couple abandoned nightmares on I-79. says call george jones if you got a nightmare missing.

ROSE said...

LOL Waaay further back than the CRPSD days.

One of those people became a principal, one's been in & out of jail, one's now a heavy drinker ... At one time, though, we were all just kids in high school.

If I'm going to drag people from 25 years ago into my dreams, there's still one I'd like to punch right in the mouth. When he shows up in my dream, POW! I'm knocking him straight into someone else's. LOL

Anonymous said...

Thank God I didn't know you 25 years ago, hurts just thinkin about it.

ROSE said...

LOL I doubt seriously anybody else on the planet woulda treated me the way he did. He was ... one in a million.

Actually, I can't imagine I ever let anybody treat me like that. It's a good thing for him he did know me 25 years ago, before I became the ... ahem ... person ... I am today. BAHAHAHAHA LOL

Anonymous said...

Sweet dreams,Rose! Forget about the Bass-Turd!!! though you need to forgive him (God just testing you)

ROSE said...

LOL Oh, believe me, he's *forgiven*. I'm not going to Hell for the likes of *him*!!

Forgeting, though? That's another story. I have a rare affliction that causes severe muscle spasms in my right-hook arm. If I ever see him again & happen to have an "episode" as he's passing by, well, that's not really my fault, is it?

That's so funny 'cause I've never punched anybody in my life! LOL Well, I did slap that guy in the 8th grade, but he had it coming!! (& I found out years later that there were no ... um ... hard feelings. teeheehee)

ROSE said...

Oh, wait. In the interest of total disclosure, I feel morally bound to admit that the affliction jumped to my left-hook arm once & I broke something very near & dear to someone. He's lucky it wasn't his neck. Given a 2nd chance, I'd definitely reposition myself.

Mean, ain't I? LOL

Anonymous said...

Mean,maybe--Gorgeous,definitely--Our cyber-space,#@$ goddess!

It's quite clear Rose is upset with the little Black man, though Hillary holds a strong first place!

ROSE said...

LOL Rose is upset with a lot of people today.

But I don't think any of them is a little black man.

Hey! Guess what?! The potential for more damaging winds & hail is in the forecast again! Oh, joy, joy.

ROSE said...

BOOM! I thought it was just my belly growling until I realized that was lightning!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't bode well that we're already under what they're calling "the first of the watches & warnings" & it's only 6 a.m.

Seems to be a bright, sunshiny day over on AW's webcam, though!

Anonymous said...

Those pictures on AW's web cam are from yesterday afternoon 7/21/08

ROSE said...

Oh. Silly me, thinking it was a *live* cam.

Everybody survive the latest round of storms? We were on the porch, talking about how the sun was shining & how hot it was & "boy, it's hard to believe they're having severe weather just a few counties away" & then BOOM! LOL

Anonymous said...

Hey Rose, I can't get to AW's site from your site.

ROSE said...

Shoulda taken a left at Albuquerque.

Anonymous said...

LOL I really did give that some thought...LOL

ROSE said...

LOL Sometimes, there are just some places ya plain can't get to from here.

I changed that link, though. Should work now!

(Andy, you're late with your "Thanks for the free adverstising!" check again ... teeheehee)

I just found this over on the last post. Mitch isn't very timely, but y'all might be interested in what he has to say ...

mitch has left a new comment on your post "HAPPY JULY!":

i have just now got around to reading the comments about hunting clubs on this site and i think some of you have a miss guided opinion. i am president of the big knob hunting club and since we have taken over our lease we have almost stoped illeagal hunting on our lease, we are working with other clubs in the area on game managment practices and are open for any law enforcement or individual help.we welcome any local members we can get. but thanks to liberal law suites this is the way it has to be now.as far as paying to suport the county, our club has a large number of out of area members that spend a considerable amount of money in the county each year. we are the ones that mowed and cleaned swandale park this summer. if local people do not take and keep these leases then someone eles will, probably some out of stater that would not blink at leaseing these properties and telling locals to stay off. i do not like paying to hunt anymore than anyone else but times are changeing, thats the way other states have been for years. if anyone has any comments, questions or ideas feel free to contact me about it but not as anonymous. 587-2924 mitch

There's more ...

by the way, the big knob hunting club is lisenced and listed as a non profit organization. mitch

Let's not drop back to an old stack.

Anonymous said...

well at least we're getting things out in the open now. Mitch didn't mention about the hunting clubs being used as a tax dodge though. and that our politicians probably get a free ride on membership.

and i use anonymous to keep from being harrassed by the policemen that, also, probably get free membership.

Anonymous said...

Gene King for example , who takes any and all perks. nice fellow though.

ROSE said...

I figure I'd be tempted to take some perks, too, if anybody'd ever bother to offer any.

Just came from AWs site ... pepper spray in the elevator? LOL Looks like those anger management classes really paid off for MP. If they were at tax payer's expense, I'd like a refund.

ROSE said...

LOL I'm still trying to picture MP, the sheriff & ... who else? ... in an elevator scuffle. LOL

Sounds like the bigger risk was exceeding the elevator weight limit & crashing to the ground.

Anonymous said...

i wonder, if property is only going to be used for a hunting club why the gov. couldn't acquire it by the right of eminent domain for the use of the public as a natural conservation park that everyone could use.

we have so many hoggish greedy people though who only want a place for their goats to graze.

Anonymous said...

now folks it's all coming clear
when hoodlums threaten everything we hold dear
we must run to the woods or our cellar and pray
then here will come Randy with his pepper sprsy.

Anonymous said...

no one gets afree ride in our hunting club. as far as being used as a tax dodge sounds to me like someone has a vivid imagination. we are having a meeting sunday 27 at 1 oclock at swandale park come out and see for your self what we are about and who we are. mitch

Anonymous said...

Lets move on. Tell us more about heavy weight elevator brawl.

Anonymous said...

Yeah really and where was that new Communicator camera when that was happening??

Anonymous said...

I was in the courthouse yesterday and this time ole mp wasn't the bad one. The other lady (about 400lbs) came out of the waiting room and pushed mp, then mp hit her and they ended up in the elevator.

As for the pepper spray, it was not necessary. Mp had let go of the girl and was holding her hands up to show Randy and he turned her around and sprayed her anyway. The other girl was the one who had mps hair and wouldn't let go. I personally would not just pull hair with mp beating the crap out of my face with one right hook after another!

Rumor is that the other girl is the girlfriend of mps ex. Not sure about that though. We all cleared out after that because you could not stand to be in there.

hey come see Clayberry. the best kept secret in West Virginia. we's gonna have usuns a real ol Squatcharee when one uv these killers wound a squatch and the whole damn tribe retaliates. them squatchees don't seem to like mean dogs and people with guns and goats they love goats seeze they smell. they loves to play peeping tom round these lovers lanes though seems a lot of fishy things go on there.

ROSE said...

OK, let's think about this. Sasquatches are big, hairy, stinky creatures who don't have a lotta couth.

I think I've known a few of them in my time ...

Anonymous said...

Also sounds like 1/2 of the guys that post on here, including myself!

Anonymous said...

I see where Roane Co. commission has near 1/4 million dollars surplus funds left over from last phy. year. They wouldn't have that problem if Poopy was sheriff over there.
