It's going to be interesting when ALL the educators in WV have their salaries posted. I bet the teachers in the eastern panhandle will be darn glad they don't teach in Clay!

MY MY MY I bet the Pre kindergarten teacher that was making $51,000.00 plus a year was one of the ones marching on the capitol the other day. Where do they get off running their yap about a 3 1/2 % wage increase.
Fool don't you know that pre kindergarten kids might pull out a gun or a knife on the teacher. Its called hazardous duty pay. Occupational risk that are incurred with them little curtain climbers deserve a big salary, after all they are highly educated baby sitters. Did you see where the aides were getting over $30,000.00 a year? Seems to me like they got it pretty well made for regular peoples salary is hardly $10,000.00 a year on average.
Instead of our state troopers and conservation officers having to get food stamps and welfare to survive with the risk they take maybe we should suggest a special session of legislature and do a little School Teacher weeding out and cut about half of their pay and use it for the ones who have to put their life on the line every day.
$30K/year isn't enough for all the teachers aides. There was that one at Capital HS that just got busted for running the methlab. Just a little sumpin' sumpin' to supplement her low pay.

Intersting little moneymaker John set up. Sure they give faces and names. But it doesn't give any facts unless you pay the $19.95. So how do you know if your "neighbor" is a predatory pedophile or just some guy who banged a girl when she was 16 and he was 19? Both are classified as sex offenders and both have to register their names,addresses, place of work, etc. for a usual minimum of ten years to life. Not only is that a scam to make money, it's just another media tactic to cause undue hysteria. You can look on any state police website FOR FREE and get the same names, faces and twice the information.
When I looked at that I got a name, a face, an address and the nature of the crime for free. Click on the red squares after putting in 25043. The other is for a background check etc. For pay.
I see on the WV state police web site that more than half (17 out of 26) of the offenders known or are family members to their victims.
Only one "predatory" offender in Clay County. One too many if ya ask me.
