BOMONT, WV -
Cunningham Energy's drill site in Bomont, Clay County, WV, was burglarized Thursday, October 3. According to the company, more than $30,000 in tools were stolen from the drilling rig.
The company says is offering a $10,000 reward for the return of these tools as well as information leading to prosecution of the person or persons responsible. Cunningham Energy is working with the West Virginia State Police and said that it's waiting on a report from investigators.
If you have any information you are asked to contact West Virginia State Police.
This is not the first time that Cunningham Energy has been the victim of thieves. A trailer was stolen from the office in Kanawha County in December 2012. It was later recovered as part of a Kanawha County Sheriff's Department investigation.

The dopers have to keep their supplies up somehow. A sub-contractor lost fuel and batteries from their machines. We had a four wheeler stolen. Gasoline stolen w/gas can. There's a regular bunch of dope heads around here running wild taking whatever they want. Maybe the new sheriff can put a stop to this abuse of the populace.

Hey Rose you scooped the widdle cub reporter on this story.

Big ha ha.
That $10,000.00 reward should smoke those varmints out in good shape. We need an infusion of new money around here.

How does somebody make off with that much stuff anyway? Sounds like an inside job to me.

Anonymous said...

Sounds like you haven't bought any tools lately.

Take the drill back Rose, you don't need the water that bad.

ROSE said...

LOL Well, realistically, if the tools were bought from/by the government, it'd only take a hammer & maybe a portable air compressor to be $30,000 worth.

Where in Bomont is this place?? Bomont's not that big & I know I don't get out much, but good grief, how have I never even heard of Cunningham Energy & why don't I know there's a drilling site here? What are they drilling for?

Now, if it were trees, I'd know about that - judging by the number of log trucks I have to follow on a weekly basis, there soon won't be a tree left in these parts.

On my map it's actually Odessa. Past Porters creek on the Bomont/Glen Rd. I see 5 new wells on my way out of here and more in progress. They are drilling for oil and gas. Clay County Bank is the force behind this operation. They own the drilling rights and do what they want with no regard to the occupants who own the surface.

So it's safe to say Bruce Cunningham has his paws it this some where?

Anonymous said...

He's the Gpaw.

Anonymous said...

What the Hae is a Gpaw? Is that anything like a G Spot?

Anonymous said...

Most folks that buy a car from Bruce say they got $crewd, so it just might be.

Anonymous said...

A G paw is what's used to manipulate a G spot.

Sounds like some one has their panties all bunched up, relax, take a deep breath, every thing will be alright in time.

Curios that out of county news outlets chose to report this serious robbery. Serious because Cunningham provides employment. If the items that were stolen take some time to be replaced the users of these tools will have to be laid off until the items they use in their daily work are replaced.
Panties should get bunched up from these dope inspired robberies. The local clay county news providers didn't report this atrocious robbery because there was no gossip involved or it is condoned by them. "When good men remain quiet bad men prevail"
Don't put these sick. suffering dopers in jail put them in rehab and follow up with 10 years supervised control. They will thank you for it.
