Sams lost???? No Clay County's voice of the people lost as once again only 1/3 of the voters voted in the county and once again BOE BUTT KISSERS show their power at the polls. At all the polling places teachers,janitors,bus drivers, contract drivers and very few citizens otherwise voted but noone threatened the citzens they would lose their job.

Melissa, I know you're not very bright, so here's a math lesson for you. Your votes combined with Jimmy's still don't add up to the number of votes Link got. You had nothing to do with it. You're crowing about nothing more than adding money to the county funds.
If you really want a better life for your son, learn to spend your money more wisely. Teach him to be self-supportive instead of sucking the system. Find somebody that can teach him the morals & values you lack.

Who cares if the poll workers look! Are you ashamed of the candidates for whom you voted? Would you vote differently based on the set of eyes looking at "the list"? If the paranoia runs so deep that you think someone is sitting in a corner making a black list based on the 1800 cast ballots, then you have bigger issues than someone matching your name to a ballot.
If someone is so inclined to match names and numbers to scratch backs or blackball you, whichever the case may be, then that someone really doesn't pass the character test we should be holding our elected officials to. Therefore, in the whole scheme of things, they matter little. They only have the amount of power you agree to relinquish.
Here's a question. If you add up all the percentages, every one comes up to 100%. I know for a fact there were write-ins for several slots. What happened to those votes?
What MP fails to realize is that JS & KS have both been elected before. MP has lost 100% of the elections she's run in. That makes JS at least 2/3 winner & KS at least 50% winner. MP ... 100% loser.

Now they have the reins again their next step is also listed and David (the queer lover) Pierson will beat out Pete Triplett next time around and also Ron (the jerk) Sirk will be on county payroll at a neat $31,000.00 plus per yr under Links command. Shortly thereafter we will have another Tanner(hypocrite butt wipe) on the school board or maybe even for assessor. Just a matter of time now for the "YES MEN" to be back in office.

So basicly no matter how hard we were told some candidates worked their fate rested on Don and Avis from the beginning. How sad. No wonder we call this place clayberry. I guess honest hard work doesn't always pay off in the real world or clayberry
I just don't understand all this political mumbo-jumbo. How could everybody's "fate" rest on Don & Avis?
Nobody - NOBODY - approached me in any way, shape or form about voting for or against anybody, including the candidates themselves.
Unless somebody is "fixing" the votes or intentionally miscounting or something along those lines, how can anybody's fate rest on anything other than the free will of the people doing the voting?
Furthermore, I don't see how any of the candidates themselves can be held responsible for the actions of others. Everybody who's eligible to vote is free to vote their gut. If they vote anything other than that - regardless of what that's based on - they're the ones who should be held responsible & hacked on, not the candidates.
When you get old and feeble and know how politics work in Clayberry you will better understand the way political machinery gets greased here.
If you watch the news, all last year the squeaky wheels in Mingo county got all dried up and Jail sentences were to be served by many there. Why? Someone there got the shaft from the blubloods side and turned on them. They know where to drop a $100 bill and where not to let it get dropped as they got flunkys in every community working around the clock.
You see all them kids holding Link signs election day? $50.00 a pop is the word. Goes along way when you never seen $50.00 or knew that much existed. Also another good sign, 4th generation welfare and the benefits thereof. Pays to get old and watch for 4 decades how things are done.
