Dear Diary ...

We've got almost 47" of snow up here on the mountain & it's still coming down. Drifts up to 6 feet. The dogs are all frozen solid in the front yard. We caged them in with the 4 foot icicles from the back porch so the wolves can't get to them. We were afraid the power would go, so we cooked everything in the freezer, including the corn dogs from 1989. It was like eating an old friend. The water's frozen in the toilet. It's gonna be a long night.

WOWEE!!!! Winter!!!! We don't have winter here in our part of the country. About two hours away from here it snows all year round. Where I am it snows once every 5 years. You'd miss it if you didn't have it!!
I'm going to troll the blogs to see if anyone has pictures!
CB
P.S. I KNEW you still had those corndogs!!!!!

I saw MPs picture on AW's site & an idea hit me like a bolt of lightening! We could all go together & buy her a fur coat, take some pictures & pass her off as a Bigfoot. All the news people would come & tourism would boom in Clay!

It's cold enought to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. Here in my neck of the woods it snowed arse hole deep to a tall Indian. Glad to be the first to sign the post. RED SKY IN MORNING, SAILORS WARNING; RED SKY AT NIGHT, SAILORS DELIGHT. George

Well hell by the time i posted i was to late. Been my life store always too late.

Been doing the blog circuit this morning. Good to see George is back, but was dismayed to see MPs water site alive and well. Several years ago, I was on a local water board. In every manual I got, it stressed "do not indulge in petty criticisms of the operations". She does nothing but cuase trouble. She needs to relize she's as guilty as the rest of them for scre3wups. More so, since she don't got to half the meetings.

I lied about eating the corn dogs. You just don't up & eat your most faithful companion, ya know.

Anonymous said...

I bet your husband is glad to hear that.

Did you also see that board members were whispering during the meeting? WHISPERING! OMG! The NERVE OF THOSE PEOPLE! I'm calling the Governor right now to let him know of this outrageous behavior. Why did'nt AW report on this? Was he in on this WHISPERING? Is he trying to cover up the TRUTH? What exactly was this WHISPERING about? Was law enforcement called? WHISPERING IS NOT ALLOWED!! Someone should be slapped for this!

Anonymous said...

Seems like someone is a little paranoid. How on earth does she expect anyone to take her seriously when she is constantly so petty?

ROSE said...

She's the most popular gal in town, ya know!

Anonymous said...

Only in Clay could STUPID = POPULAR

Anonymous said...

SPEAK LOUDER! ARE YOU WHISPERING? That is so rude, you nasty little WHISPERER!

ROSE said...

ROFLMAO Good lord.

Ok, I hate to 'fess up to something I'm not guilty of or take credit for something I didn't do, but {oh, the embarrassment!} I think I might be the Board Whisperer!! Of course, no names have been mentioned, but ... OK, I did it. I whispered. I'm a big, fat Whispering Whisperer.

While I'm confessing, I passed a note to a fellow board member at the December meeting. And I think I snickered at the November meeting.

To date, no arrests have been made.

Does anyone know why they say freeze the balls off a brass monkey?
The snow man

and I thought somebody made mention to the fact that slappin the crap out of a person is a little bit more rude then whispering. I agree with that.

People whisper in church all the time and it doesn't get a lot of attention. The reason this is is because it would be alot more rude to just speak out loud and interupt the speaker. For example, my mom would whisper to me in church, "If you dont sit still I'll tan your hide". Now that seems to be okay because if she wouldve just said that right out loud, now that would have been considered rude.
So it is more rude to interupt or more rude to whisper or more rude to slap somebody upside the head?

Ok, so MP had an employee wrote up for rolling her eyes. Now she's mad about whispering. She knows more about the law than the lawyer she agreed to hire. She don't like what the board does but she don't come to the meetings. She filed as a pauper to sue everbody in the county for slander, but leaves her self wide open. Slapping ain't rude & neither is being arrested & losing the county a lot of money. She needs to change her medication.

Anonymous said...

whispering is rude plain and simple

i didnt see where she said she was mad, she said it was rude and it is

what about all the stuff no one made public?

guess thats her fault too

Anonymous said...

Quite generally people dont make such a show about it unless they think the whispering is about them. Not too much to be said for people who are paranoid. Illegal drugs can make a person paranoid. I heard that before.

Anonymous said...

To freeze the balls off a brass monkey had something to do with the cannon on ships as where the balls were kept was the brass monkey. Anyways I think it don't apply to how cold it was saturday but this evening might fall into the category as the temps have fallen and the air cuts through your clothes making it fill super cold outside......

Anonymous said...

How come nobody's mentioning hte fact that she says the whispering ones shoulda picked up the phone? Ain't that what got the old board in so much trouble, making all them phone calls? she ain't never gonna be happy unless she's got something to complain about & everbody's talking about her. She ought ot be in hog heaven right about now.

Anonymous said...

making an observation is much different from being paranoid

it is also not right to start the rumor of drug use on anyone

you obviously was not raised with any manners whatsoever

Anonymous said...

Exactly. I give up. I don't think we'll ever quit talking about the dreaded MP and she loves it no matter how much she says she doesn't. Think I'll stay away for a while. Just can't stomach it.

Anonymous said...

I am not starting rumors. I just made a statement. You can take it for whatever it's worth. Besides with the particular person of interest at hand, we can well surmise that drug use isn't an issue, since weight loss is also a byproduct of those same illegal drugs.
And, anon, you obviously weren't raised with any sort schooling in the area of grammar. I have plenty of manners; I just don't use them where they aren't necessary.

ROSE said...

I wonder, had I gotten caught passing that note, if I'd have had to read it to the whole room? (For the record, it said, "Do you know that guy's name?")

Anonymous said...

That's not nearly as interesting as the ones in school that were read outloud that said, "Do you love me?" And then there were the little boxes that said YES NO MAYBE under them.

ROSE said...

I'm sure the other board member's wife would have appreciated that even less than MP appreciated the whispering & my husband wouldn't have thought much of it, either. LOL

Anonymous said...

OMG! She's a wingnut!! She says Barlette is a cash and carry place & they had to pay upon receiving the gravel. Who signed the check without board approval to do so? READ THAT AGAIN! Who signed the check without board approval to do so?! OMG!! That is so priceless, coming from the one that still owes over $100 for signing more than $500 worth of checks TO HERSELF without board approval! She's not paranoid, she's an idiot!

Anonymous said...

your the idiot she paid the district off where were you?

Anonymous said...

Doesn't change the fact taht the pot's calling the kettle black. She's just mad cause this time she ain't the one runnin the show.

Anonymous said...

I think AW should hire her. She spins almost as good as he does.

Anonymous said...

and they could share pants, I think they are the same size

Anonymous said...

Now THAT is rude! AW would get lost in those drawers of hers!

Anonymous said...

If Rose whispered to MP does that make her a jackass whisperer instead of a horse whisperer?

Anonymous said...

Sorry AW no offense meant

Anonymous said...

That should be a country song "I'm A Redneck Jackass Whisperer".

Anonymous said...

MP wold never allow anybody to whisper to her. That's rude & we all know how polite she is.

Anonymous said...

I'm a redneck jackass whisperer
i whisper all the time
i whisper even though it's rude
my whisperer's out of line.

once, i whispered to myself
something oh, so naughty.
i slapped my redneck jackass mouth
for being such a potty.

i whisper when i'm in the shower,
i whisper in the car.
i whisper when i'm not alone
and even when i are.

i whispered once, to a man
he thought i was quite witty.
then he made me scream out loud,
when he pinched me on my ... cheek.

yes, i'm a redneck jackass whisperer
and proud as i can be.
i'll try to stay far away
from whisper-hating MP.

Anonymous said...

Didn't somebody try to tell MP once that her website was a bad idea? Looks like she shoulda listened. If I was a board member, I think I might slap her.

Good morning, all!

All major airports in the Northeast are shut down; Dick Cheney accidentally shot his hunting buddy; Michelle Kwan dropped out of the Olympics; tomorrow's Valentine's Day.

Just a little news flash for everybody whose attention didn't wander outside of Clay County yesterday ... teeheehee

Mornin' Rose. I leave town for a few days and the dreaded one spoiled all the fun while I was gone. (heavy sigh). Have a good one.

ROSE said...

Welcome back, brulz!

If the weather would be as consistent as these blogs, my life would be ever so much easier. LOL

I'm still talking about Hurricane Katrina & Sago, too. Doesn't mean I "like" them, it just means disasters are always good topics of conversation.

Anonymous said...

Why do you like her, SB?

I bet you like her because she always gives us something to talk about. A good conversation piece she IS that. I'll give her that much.

But by all means, enlighten us to the likeability that you have found in her!

Saddam Heissen threw a tantrum in court today. But I don't think he slapped anybody.

Anonymous said...

No he didn't, but consequently he is going on a hunger strike. >; D

Anonymous said...

Like anyone cares if he starves to death or not.

Anonymous said...

Might be a good idea for slappers everywhere.

Anonymous said...

I know somebody that could use a hunger strike. The weight loss would be good, but without all them Twinkies & Ding Dongs & HoHos clouding her brain, she might have a moment of clarity.

Anonymous said...

Suggestion: Let Dick Cheney take MP and Saddam quail hunting.

Anonymous said...

I am reaaaaaal peed. Someone mentioned my name, MP and something about getting in her drawers.
My God bloggers, this is Valentine's Day. Just the thought.... You really know how to spoil a night of lust and sex this Feb 14th. Back to the left hand for me.
AW, the mel gibson look alike

Anonymous said...

Hell, AW, over on another blog, they was talkin about MP on the beach. Now that'll cure ya lust for sure!

For the good of mankind, you should get in there with her & teach her a few things. Or at least help her get her head out of her ass.
