HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

OK, so there's no more "technically" about it;
I'm officially 40 until about this time next year.
Beats the heck out of the alternative.

Many, many moons ago, I set some Life Goals for myself. Tomorrow, I reach one of the checkpoints for some of those goals.

Anybody got $1,000,000 you want to give me?? I'd planned on having that much put away by the time I reached 40 & I'm a few ... um ... OK, so I'm about $999,999.95 short.

Also, if you're wondering what I'd like for my birthday, a Stingray would be nice. Preferably one born around the same time I was.

Or a pair of those 007 stilettos with weapons in the heels. Those are way cool.

Or beer nuts are good.

Hope you have a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rose and you get everything you wish for!

ROSE said...

THANKS!

I don't wish for much - I've learned that if you keep your expectations low, you're never disappointed. The flipside of that is that most of the time, you're pleasantly surprised!

I knew it was going to be a GREAT DAY! when I went to the DMV this morning & it only took 10 minutes to get my drivers license renewed!

& it's just gotten better from there!

Man of all things I thought I would ever see on here.

MP in Pokadots

ROSE said...

LVOE LVOE LVOE RIGHT BACK ATCHA!

MP in polka dots? Are you saying we looked alike as children? We were a cute kid, huh?

Incidentally, my mom made that outfit I had on in that picture, as she did just about everything I ever owned until I was in high school.

Here's a question for the general populace - if you found out something that totally infuriated you on someone else's behalf & that someone else couldn't do anything about it, would you??

Why yes, by gimminy. And by the way, you must of inspired the song, you must of been a beautiful baby.

ROSE said...

Why thank you! I WAS a beautiful baby! It lasted until I was about ... 12 or so. YIKES! LOL

Don't talk in riddles noone around Clayberry can figure out plain english most the time. Splatter it all over the blog everyone else does.
Surely you haven't been having an affair with JC and his bologna.

Anonymous said...

don't talk in initials either.
who's JC?

Anonymous said...

Depends on whose behalf you are a talkn. And if the something that makes you mad, is really worth all that madness. Oh h#@L what am I blah blah blahing about, just do it....do it, do it, do it. I would, pointless or not. Especially if it was my bestiest or fam, just do it.

J C could stand for Jesus Christ but I don't think he likes baloney.
Most likely Jack Coleman he likes bolonga fried too.

Just wondering, since Valley Fork School is now closed, can we go back to the correct spelling before they misspelled it and officially changed the name instead of correcting the sign?

Remember not so long ago when it was so cold out and snowy that school was called off? I'd like to take one of those days and mix it up with this one! Shewee!!!

ROSE said...

Ugh. It's hot, it's muggy & it's giving me a headache.

Reckon I'll have to go stub my toe so I don't think about it.

Anonymous said...

A nice cold beer'll take care of that headache!

ROSE said...

LOL Unfortunately, one beer generally leads to 7 or 8, which leads to a much bigger badder headache.

Anonymous said...

You're supposed to pass out so you don't notice it!

Happy Birthday Rose... I had no idea you were THAT much older than me..

Bologna chunks to ya. And maybe a few yard ornaments as well.

May the Force be with you..

Anonymous said...

Navel Lint, I don't believe you are THAT far away from 40!!! >: D

Chickenchilghetti LOL!!!

ROSE said...

Oh, Navel Lint, it's not how much OLDER I am that gets you all a'twitter, it's how much more EXPERIENCED I ... am not. LOL

The Force is a great thing. Provided, of course, it's not the force of the bologna chunks ... teeheehee

Anonymous said...

Well I won't be 40 this year... or next.. ; )

Speaking of chickenchilghetti, How is the chickenman? Didn't you tell me he split the sheets with Mrs. MoonPie face?

Anonymous said...

So How ya been Rose--a rita?

Been a month of Sundays since I've had anything to say on your blog..

I think the last time I dropped in it was to discuss Clay Countys fine public works system.. More specifically the water company and its inability to service Pumpkin.. (punkin?)Ridge.. or provide a potable product..

ROSE said...

You really should drop by more often.

Chicken man ... chicken man ... chicken man ... what don't I know? Mrs. MoonPie face has split the sheets with so many people, why can't I place chicken man??

Pumpkin Ridge still isn't serviced. Though I daresay they need servicing more than most. Perhaps YOU should run for/get yourself appointed to public office & change our world here.

teeheehee

Anonymous said...

OH yeah....you have one of those "late" birthdays

Indeed there was the split!

Chicken man....uh.....mmm.....sidebar!

ROSE said...

Late birthday. teeheehee Once you hit 30, 40's just a day or 2 away ...

That was a most boring sidebar! Well, the part about the chickengilghetti was funny!! LOL

Mrs. MoonPie face must be the Queen of the Splitters - not only did she split with Mr. Chicken Man, she's since split the sheets with [insert name here]. She's got lots of catching up to do, ya know!

Time to break out the red white and blue and the Bud Lite and let the party begin as it has already for some I seen today. Throwing their bottles and boxes out the windows of their car heading towards Clayberry.
Farmers Market to open soon at the big Tourist Get A Way at Dundon. Seems noone remebers the one that was beside the old Ginos that went under a few years back. Green Beans there was $54.00 per bushel and you could buy them off anybody that had them for $14.00 but so goes life in Clayberry....Org

Don't worry Rose, we han't forsock, just a faze we'er going frou.
