9/11/2001 - I was at the Elkview Kmart in the layaway department.
11/22/63 - still in my mamas belly.
8/16/77 - At my friends house. She had 4 sisters and them and her mom were all bawling their eyes out. I didn't really even know who Elvis was.
8/31/97 - visiting out of state my sisters. Sad, sad, morning.
How about July 16, 1999??
Or February 27, 2003?
SB -

I knew the most of those.. :) didn't really remember where I was with all of them.. a couple I wasn't even around for--but I had forgotten that Conway died June 5, 1993.. aneursym wasn't it? That what my dad died of. Boo hoo :(
That was fun though. Really makes one use their mind. Thanks! :)
~just me~
November 22, 1963 -- working for the government in Washington, D.C. Got the news of President Kennedy's assasination around 3:00pm. Within an hour, all except essential personel were sent home. The streets were lined with military guards. For all intents and purposes, the entire city was shut down. Got up at 4:00am and got a spot on the street to watch the funeral procession. Was a very tense and sad few days. Also, was in D.C., during the riots after Martin Luther King was shot. Also, a very tense and sad time.
9/11 - I was working for the chairman of the PSC. I had no idea the PSC was responsible for a lot of the stuff he had to activate.
Was in a dogwood tree, reading a book the day Elvis died. Kermit? You reading this?
Oh, the day Conway died. I'm just sure he'd have loved me ... if he'd ever bothered to get to know me.
hey minnie pearl; think i misread your previous post. as to your two ? that i identified. i have no desire to be singled out. to tell the truth most people don't even see me when i'm standing right in front of them. as to random thoughts i posted some this morn. some were a little more focused. building roses ego up. don you think she's purty. and the reason i talk about me and my service record is because that's what i know best. i'm not into local goings on too much at present. however if you wish to tell your name tomorrow i might be able to tell you whatsize panties/shorts you wear. the lone stranger
Aug. 16, 1977 I was kickin in side my mommys belly sayin you got 4 more days left lady!
