GOOD MORNING!

WitchyWoman, I think the safest answer is, "I ain't sayin' nuthin'". LOL (But you're absolutely right.)

While I'm getting ready for work, I always have CNN or some other news show on in the background. This morning, I've apparently got "selective viewing" turned on. The things that grabbed my attention this morning were:

Multi-tasking decreases your productivity by up to 10%; twice the decrease caused by smoking marijuana. Hmm. This means, of course, that men aren't "stupid" their inability to multi-task is just their way of being more productive.

Has anybody ever cared about their productivity while smoking marijuana?

Is it just me or does Ted Kennedy look exactly like on of those dried apple dolls?

Have you ever noticed how laws are much like presription medicines? For every one on the books, there's another that counteracts it, so another has to be written, which gets nullified by yet another. Send your children to law school. They'll never be unemployed.

Define "annoy." Read up on privacy laws. PROVE IT. BAHAHAHAHA

I think it's a fine law. We need more like it.

'mornin', b...rulz! Runnin' a bit behind myself this morning. When the kids say, "Mom, can we have CoCo Wheats for breakfast?" they don't give a rip if you're trying to iron or not. LOL

Oh, well. They went to school with their bellies full & I'm going to work wrinkled. tra la la la la LOL

USAFCowboy, I know lots of lawyers if you need some help sending us all to jail. teeheehee

"Ms. Rose" ?? Is that who I think it is?? :)

ROSE said...

teeheehee I didn't, did I?

I do, indeed, know lots & lots of GOOD lawyers. Good people, good at what they do. I know, it's an oxymoron, but I also know some smart blondes, honest car salesmen & human politicians. Yes, I do live in The Twilight Zone. LOL

Democracy. Hmph. Let me just share this little ditty with you ...

I talked with someone at the WV Ethics Commission yesterday. I had a very valid question about ethical issues regarding holding public offices simultaneously. I'd already spoken with the Secretary of State's office & various other state agencies. Nobody could answer my question, so eventually, I ended up at the Ethics Commission.

The fella I talked to could've just been having a bad day. I sincerely hope so. When I posed my question, he stopped just short of reeming me a new one, ending with, "It's called a DEMOCRACY, which is what we're trying to establish in Iraq."

Well, buddy, it's called PROFESSIONALISM, which is what we obviously don't have in state government.

:( Makes me sick at my stomach to think about it. My thoughts are with Renee & Brian and the rest of the family.

Such a tradgedy makes all my moaning, groaning, and gnashing of teeth, seem totally silly. Prayers and sympathy to the family.

There were so many things I was going to say when I sat down here. Witty ditties that mean nothing now.

What a horrible, horrible tragedy. I can't imagine there's a parent out there who isn't holding their children a little closer, finding it just a bit hard to breathe.

Does anyone know the condition of the driver of the vehicle?

I'm having an ethical dilemma here. Has the family all been notified? It might be egotistical on my part to think that any of them might visit this blog, but I'd hate for them to read about here before somebody in the family told them.

Should I leave these posts or delete them & repost maybe tomorrow?

I guess what I meant to say was moral dilemma, not ethical. I just can't think. I went to school with Brian. My husband worked with him for years. We have a child Allie's age ...

Yes. the family was present when it all happened. They were also all at the hospital. They all know by now.
a friend of the family.

It was on Channel 13 News at 6:00pm. It should be back on there at 11:00pm.

I seen on the blog SOME GOOD SOME BAD. All comments left for the family of Allie will be printed and given to the family. You can leave condolences there.

Any body missed me? Probably should'nt have asked that question!

Clay County might be a lot of things a lot of the time, but when it comes down to what's good and right in this world, I'm proud to be among you all.

Justme2005 is going to copy and print all the kind words and pass them on to the family. Please stop by his blog (Some Good Some Bad - link on the homepage) & share your condolences there, too.

Thank you, hippy, for that reassurance. I was so torn between that exact scenario taking place and/or having an out-of-state relative finding out here. Thanks to you, too, Smiley!

While we're sending up prayers, I think we should all pray for one another. There isn't a soul here who isn't affected by this & really, who couldn't use a little prayer now and then?

You are welcome, Rose. I was only trying to help. My thoughts continue to be with the family and all of the others that were affected by this tragedy.

Good morning, all!

I woke up this morning with a heavy heart & didn't really remember why. What a sad, sad day.

My heart goes out to the family, teachers, classmates, friends ...

Good morning, Rose. Hearts are heavy all over our little corner of the world. When it comes to a tragedy such as this, we all seem to be able to put our differences aside and focus on the things that are really important. My thoughts and prayers are, like everyone else, for Allie's family.

Going to get ready for work now. We can only try to have a good day under the circumstances.

My own little 9-year-old said to me this morning, "Mom, maybe Jesus just needed a little more light in Heaven" ... I didn't ask what he meant, because frankly, I couldn't speak. I think, though, that maybe I'm doing alright as a mom.
