Hello and good afternoon! I have a gripe that I have got to get off my chest. Last night I was at a wake for a friend of mine. While I sitting in the funeral home, their were some women talking and a guy was sitting behind them. I won't give his name but I will his initals: DJE. The women were involved in a discussion and dje was not involved at all. This guy asked a woman who was sitting there if she was looking for a good man cause he was looking for a good woman. The woman turns around and tells him: "No, I don't need a another drunk, I am not that hard up." The woman was family to the man that had passed. I think more people should have some consideration. Manly dje. You don't go to a wake/funeral looking for date. Have respect for the family of the guy that has passed. How rude can one person be? He even did this while there were 5 other family members around them. He needs to learn how to respect others. DJE you should be ashamed of yourself.

Was it just me or did anyone else follow the hippies last comment? I was bit lost. Was the hippy upset at what the anon posted or was it that the hippy agreed but was still upset at something that the anon had done something at the wake that ticked the hippy off?? Oh my goodness gracious, I'm confused~~~or are they???

We're all turning on each other in MP's absence.

Yes Hippy, you did clarify it for me. I now understand. Thank you. Heavens no, let's NOT turn on each other in MP's absence.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, my prayers are with you.

You are also right that, all it takes is a simple push of a button (turning the computer off!) before getting upset at something on here.

Have a goodern' yourself. No offense intended, just confused at the wording.

Thx

Hi, hippy. Sorry for the loss of your friend. Sometimes folks say inappropriate things at inappropriate times. Any time there is a gathering of people for any occasion, it's been my experience that someone will say or do something which I feel is not appropriate but I probably do or say things that someone else finds
inappropriate. I'm with you on this one. I enjoy reading the blogs and leaving my comments and I do get a little ticked sometimes but I state my opinion and move on.

So everyone, let's move on. lol.

Hippy,
I am sorry for the loss of your friend. Seems like we were at the same place. It seems like death has hit everyone hard these last 6 months. I've had 8 people family and friends pass away.

I am sorry if my message about dje made anyone upset. It is not right to go to a wake to pick up women. That was point. If it had not been a wake, I would have taken him out back and gave him a good can of whip ass. (see I showed respect for the family and friends). I just can not say the same about dje.

What the heck happens when I'm not here?? LOL

hippy, we all knew your friend. My husband worked with him when we were first dating, about 100 years ago. He & my Pops were good friends, too. He was a good man with a kind heart. I'm so sorry for your loss.
